Going to be so much fun to see how each coach adjusts to game 2. The Heat were adjusted crazily each win against IND, it wasn't just missing vs making shots. The Spurs we know can adjust but didn't need to as much vs Memphis.

I think we see more Lebron in the post but you get into the problem with spacing with Bosh/Wade out there as non 3 point shooters. So would be interesting if they ask Lebron to be more aggressive. He didn't really force anything which hindsight says he should have, but we will see.

Wade's defense has to improve. Too many open shots for SA because Wade was caught sleeping

On the Spurs side. Kawhi needs to hit those corner 3s and the Spurs have to limit TOs and avoid letting Heat push the ball on rebounds which they corrected in the 2nd half. They let Ray Allen open too many times also, but that's more getting used to what Miami runs and the little twists on their pet plays to get them open.

Oh and Miami fans shouldn't worry at all. If they go down 2-0 then of course, start to worry. 1-0 isn't panic time no matter what media wants you to believe. Flip side for SA, the series isn't over regardless of what the media wants you to believe.

    Excellent officiating.

Very few foul calls and solid calls. Loved this game

    That's exactly right.

Lebron had a triple double, Wade played very well, and they got contribution from their bench.

Spurs are a better team. Hands down

I don't know if it's Spo, but someone on the Heat routinely changed the strategy in IND. It was different a lot. Someone made those adjustments.

That Bosh wide open 3 attempt with about a minute to go was designed...

    Awesome.

Was it designed for the 3, or designed to get Bosh open. Because he had two dribbles to pull up and take the shot he's better at. He's like the kid who is never allowed to shoot 3s and finally was allowed to shoot them, and now he's obsessed.

I am halfway in the bag in the courtyard at AT&T center with some other STHs and I'm off the chair shocked that we stole this game.

None of our perimeter shooters were worth a shit tonight. It was a replay of a couple of games in the last series.

If we can get some shooters outside on Sunday... the sky is the limit. Holy fuck.

Yeah. He's not a good 3 point shooter, so he's really valuable as an off the ball cutter for the Heat when Lebron handles. He;s not healthy enough to initiate the offense, split doubles, etc. Close, fun game.

I'm guessing game 2 is Sunday and not Saturday because NBA wants Sunday night games?

Not saying this will happens, just saying the Heat don't fazed easily:

    ESPN Stats & Info ‏@ESPNStatsInfo 1m
4th time Heat have lost a Game 1 in the Bosh/James/Wade Era. Heat went on to sweep the next 4 games in each of the previous 3 instances

Pop won't let his team relax so SA shouldn't suffer the same fate as the other 3 teams, one of which was the injured, depleted, 3rd string Bulls team.

I'll bet my 3 year old son that Bosh don't take more than one 3 point try in game 2.

A good coach simply tells the guy he gets benched every time he shoots a 3. The end. Or have his teammates make a kangaroo court and fine him a grand each time.

The announcers act like it's relevant that he's done well on 3s this playoffs.

    Career regular season: 28.8%

He didn't suddenly turn into a good three point shooter after being a terrible one for ten years.

Bosh has been shooting way too many threes and Spoelstra doesn't do a thing about it. Wade sucks too but the difference is that he realizes it and only attempts .5 a game. It's funny because aside from the bigs (Andersen, Anthony, and Haslem), pretty much everyone else on the Heat roster is a good three point shooter. Allen, Miller, Battier, Chalmers, LeBron, even James Jones and Rashard Lewis (who have been buried on the bench, but always shot well).

with those coming against weak Eastern Conference opponents and the Thunder who were just out-coached. an absolutely meaningless stat.

It takes a lot for a guy like Stephen A. Smith to pick against his Heat.

This is San Antonio's year and possibly the end of the Lebron in Miami era.
