really hate how the networks keep cutting away/minimizing live action to do stupid interviews or to do a preview I'm trying to watch the game and they minimize it so they can have Ernie Johnson tell you the Lakers are playing tonight. I KNOW THE LAKERS ARE PLAYING TONIGHT and probably just about every other viewer does as well
Wow rockets erase a 15 point deficit against the Thunder in the 4th and tied at 91 with 4:50 ish left
Ibaka with a dunk over Asik, then as the Rockets try to catch thE Thunder napping after the dunk, Durant blocks that layup, now Westbrook at the line down 2 with 3 ish minutes left. FUN game
I can't believe Perkins did that I mean he's a dirty player but how does he take the chance? It resulted in a wide open three but you take the chance a ref sees it, calls an offensive foul, three waved off and then yelling at the ref or whatever after getting called for a foul Brooks needs to take him out
Houston had the ball with 13 left, down 4 they didn't get a shot up until about 2 seconds were left, and it was a 2 what I would've done is inbound to a guard, either he takes the 3 or if he can't get a look quickly, a quick dish to someone and then a three you can't use more than 5 seconds there. Terrible job.
^^ terrible late game management. And yeah Perkins got real lucky, pretty sure he learned that grab from KG. Seemed like a Boston ish type play they get away with. Dwight Howard is causing a ton of problems for the Spurs right now, but Spurs still ahve a 3 point lead
Lakers hanging around in the 6-10 point range where I can't turn the game off but it isn't a close/exciting game
Reggie Miller says this game is the difference between serious teams and teams just happy to be here I don't think the Lakers are just happy to be here I think they're outgunned
They were down to their 3rd SG tonight since Meeks was out I believe. Yisman, did you hear Reggie Miller saying Serge Ibaka should win DPOY because he improved his shooting?
missed that but I did hear Parker say "happy we were able to defend home court, hopefully we can go to LA and do the same thing." I know he meant "do the same thing" as in "play as well", but still amusing
Spurs look legit, down the stretch they had us worried, but these last 2 games are convincing me that the real Spurs team is the one that was streaking midseason. Oh and not gunna lie, id kill for the warriors to take down Denver.
I want the warriors to lose, only because they spawned the career of Jeremy Lin, and I HATE Jeremy Lin. That bastard betrayed the Knicks.
It's funny, I like David Lee and I like Gallo, so I usually push for both of those teams to win. Now both players are out, so I guess that defaults me to the Nuggets, since they have some other ex knicks that I miss.
This irks me as well. They'll have the game in a small window in a corner but put the coach talking on the big picture as if it even remotely matters. The coaches always give the same generic answers in those little interviews between quarters. I swear they only even do them to get people to watch the hot female interviewers. It's not like they ever say anything that isn't obvious to the viewers. If you want to play the coaches clips, that's fine, just keep the game on the screen. I don't care about seeing Woodson's face while he's talking when there's live action going on. Humans have ears. We can hear things. They need to stop watering the game down for drama. I care about the game itself, not the stupid drama.
good chance Nash misses Game 3 by the way, vbetting for tonight's games: http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=77553
Miami beats the Bucks, using a big third to overcome the deficit Bulls routed the Nets from start to finish
