This will be epic. No other words to describe it. So many storylines to, I wouldn't know where to start.
If it's really going to be Miami vs San Antonio, it'll be the most boring finals ever. They're literally the only 2 teams I very much dislike. I guess I'll root for Miami since they deserve it more, and are more fun to watch unfortunately.
Our two regular season games were awesome... First one they sat their starters and we barely beat their bench at home... Second one, we rested Wade/Lebron and we beat them with an awesome Bosh 3 pointer with like 1 second... Both games were very entertaining...
The only reason you think it will be a boring series is because you don't like either team and probably won't watch it. That has nothing to do with what kind of basketball is played. But that doesn't matter, just like your opinion of professional sports doesn't matter. Maybe if you follow as many basketball teams as you follow football teams, you will still be interested. I suggest that you become a fan of all western conference teams, to protect your happiness from your meager understanding of professional basketball.
How anyone could complain about Heat vs Spurs is beyond me....2 top 10 players going at it, first time since the 80s. And no I dont count 91 or 07 because Lebron and Jordan were ringless thus not top 10 just yet. Ontop of that we have the Spurs who are undefeated in the finals vs a team going for a repeat. Then we have Big 3 vs Big 3, this will be the matchup of a generation.
first the teams have to both get there. According to the odds, Miami/Spurs would be about -540 or a little over 84% I think Memphis wins tonight to force a Game 5. As for Miami/Indiana, I wouldn't rule Indiana out.
Last year soxxx, Durant vs Lebron, 1 vs 2. Top 10 players in the NBA usually don't have a ring. Paul, Durant, Melo for example finished in the top 5 of MVP voting this year. 0 combined rings. Kobe at #5 and Bron at #1 were the ones with the rings.
Ohhhh. So Lebron is top 10 already? Tim Duncan is around 7-10 on a ton of lists I read for greatest players of all time. A lot of people throwing him at the end of their top 10 that I read. I don't think you can put Lebron in the 10 ten yet because part of what gets you there is the length of your career and what you compile and Lebron has a LOT mroe left in him if he stays healthy
I meant top 10 all time, I guess you could debate whether lebron is top 10 yet, but many feels he is.
I think he's on the "if he keeps this up" path for the top 10. So not there, but something flukey would have to happen to stop him
refs really bogged down that second quarter. Such a slow pace it felt like, whistles every other possession
Agreed, clearly he will end up top 10, but the question is whether he is already there. I havent watched basketball long enough to make that judgement, some feel he is already, others do not.
LeBron is clearly one of the best 10 basketball players ever. But if the question is whether he's had a top 10 career, the answer is obviously no. If he retired after the season, he'd be a Hall of Famer, but it would definitely not be a top 10 career. Duncan has a case for a top 10 career (for how long he's stayed productive and been a centerpiece, not to mention all the winning and titles), but I would not put him on my list of the 10 best NBA/ABA players ever. So either way, I think there's only one top 10 player in Spurs/Heat.
The Spurs are up but still haven't shot for shit at the arc. They're playing excellent defense. Dammit I want to see some three balls go down.
