Wonder if Dwight's agent is saying this, so Dwight can break the news and announcement.

    Hahaha

    Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 2m
Nevertheless, multiple sources tell Y! Sports Howard has chosen the Rockets but is still finalizing details of agreement.

I work with Sam, I am glad we are the first to report that Dwight is going to Houston...Take that LA.

Woj from Yahoo Sports was so upset that he came up with a pathetic immature tweets about how his agent said no decision was made yet but that was only because he wanted to put the spotlight on Dwight to make the announcement.

Sam got it right, and the twitterverse and ESPN who had reported Sam & USAT Sports info and then jumped the gun with Woj (Yahoo Sports) pathetic attempt to troll looks so foolish. They brought in Chris Broussard to save face.

Yeah Woj didn't look too good at first. He eventually said this Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 21m
USA Today first reported that Dwight Howard will sign with the Rockets.

But it was nice to see someone else break a huge NBA story. Good for USA Today too.

    Daryl Morey ‏@dmorey 8m
While we are excited & cautiously optimistic @DwightHoward might choose Houston, we have not yet heard about his decision

Rockets GM above. Playing cards close to his chest. It wouldn't surprise me though if Dwight changed his mind before officially signing the contract

Marc Stein said it best, the Lakers are not used to having someone leave like this because they are the LAKERS. Fuck em, they wont be back now for awhile.

Deep down Morey is dancing I bet, I have to imagine this leaked because of Fegan and Dwight.

Unless Dwight informed the Lakers first and that is how it was discovered.

Alot of noise today in FA news in hockey and bball. Nothing better then it

Thunder must be kicking themselves, the move to send Harden to Houston set all this up.

Lmao, Espn just proposed that Lebron or Melo would go to LA, No chance. Lebron would never play with Kobe, and Melo and Kobe would never work.

Lakers still haven't been told of Dwight Howard's decision...

Who knows. I bet someone close to Dwight, and then Fegan his agent was late getting the story to Woj so he tried to save face with Woj, but by then too many sources were confirming the story and choice.

Also, Omar Asik is now demanding a trade because he doesn't want to back up Dwight Howard

We all know Melo...He is not going to be second fiddle to Kobe in LA. Kobe to NY seems more doable the following year.

No way Melo goes to LA, that would suck ass for us. Lebron wont go there either I think.

Alot of people are salty right now

Omer Asik and Lin will probably get Houston a 3rd big three piece.

Dont be surprised if Josh Smith goes to Houston in a S&T...Its ideal now

Supposedly, Kobe likes Melo more than most other players and enjoyed playing and hanging out with him at the Olympics. Of course that's just heresay, but who knows. I could see Melo leaving to be honest. Depends on how the season goes.

That's what I'm reading. It would be fun to watch, but hack a Dwight/Josh could see a HUGE rise in usage if they play together and don't improve their FT shooting.

There's only a 25% chance that you get the top pick with having the worst record...

I wonder how teams will tank in the final few months of the season but not making it obvious...

Not a huge NBA fan but love the drama. It is like a reality show for me. Why the hell Howard is so important. He looks like a loser. Seriously. Why do teams get excited for a guy who is mentally only maybe 16 years old?
