Drake was in the Kentucky locker room post game. Might get fined as he is Toronto Raptors Global Ambassador or something. I'm pretty sure he is employed by them in some fashion. Jay Z got fined a few years ago when Kentucky won and he was in the locker room .

The Warriors announced Saturday that assistant coach Darren Erman has been relieved of his duties following an unspecified violation of the organization’s policy.
“This is the type of decision that would be made across the board and irrespective of position within the organization,” Warriors GM Bob Myers said in a statement.

"Told that if the Warriors didn't fire Erman, and later it came out what he did, it would look really bad on Warriors" https://twitter.com/ThompsonScribe/status/452526851949223936

It's probably still only roughly a -110 to -200 line tho am I right? It's only a 2 team parlay for heavy favorites.

That reminds me of bad local radio shows. Make a dozen predictions that all conflict each other because they are flip flopping all season and then when one of them is right they brag about being right all along. What a joke

Just because I said something mid season, does not change my preseason statements. I said the Nets would make it, if they dont, you can rip me to shreds. Yes ive admitted I have doubts that they will get there but I stand by my preseason predictions.

You realize you've set yourself up to be wrong either way, right?

But ok, we'll go with your Nets prediction and we'll call you out when you're wrong about that.

I'd guess Miami -400 first round and Indiana -350 first round. That parlay would be about -150. I don't think there will be odds on Indiana/Miami being the ECF, so I'll just need to do a 4 team parlay (all 4 series prices using an open parlay. Open parlays allow you to add selections later). Alternatively, I could do a 2 teamer for 100 and then take the 100+winnings and put it on the next 2 teamer. Usually amounts to roughly the equivalent.

no odds yet because opponents are unknown.

There is a difference between a preseason prediction and a mid season analysis.

    They're both predictions.

Atlanta blowing out Indiana, which would solidify a Miami/Atlanta 1 vs. 8 first round matchup (and Indiana/Charlotte, which would be an awful series).

Ok so I am not allowed to discuss the NBA during the season and how I feel week by week? Its not a prediction, a prediction is made before the season starts. If it does end up being Pacers-Heat I wouldnt brag because I said it during the middle of the season during an analysis.....

Take it like this, the only that matters it the preseason predictions. I said Spurs over Nets, the end. If it does not happen you can say whatever you want BECAUSE that is what I said originally. If I am wrong about it, then I am wrong, eat me alive when the Nets go down.

Huh? Predictions are made all season long. If I say now that I think Team X will win the title, that's a prediction.

You are allowed to discuss the NBA all season. You can be wrong during the season or before the season.

Last night I read the latest Bill Simmons mailbag. Not surprisingly, he's down on the Pacers.

    http://grantland.com/features/fixing-the-nba-playoffs/

He managed to turn the Pacers thing into another excuse to gush about the Fake, one of the most overrated players in recent history. I tried to paste the whole thing, but the board has a character limit.

Well ive seen this movie before, 2011 Spurs, hottest team in the beginning but struggled down the stretch only to get knocked out. Now I dont think the Pacers will lose in the first round because the competition isnt that deep but the Nets, Bulls, Wizards, and Raptors will have a great chance to take em down. Unless the Knicks get in to, they can be a viable threat.

Bunch of seeds close to locked in after today's action.

    1)Miami 2)Indiana 5)Brooklyn 8)Atlanta
    1)San Antonio 2)OKC 3)Clippers 4)Houston 5)Portland 6)Golden State

Closest of those would be 1-2 in the East, but with the way Indiana is playing, I don't really think they have a chance to get the 1 seed back.

Also, with Dallas's win at Sacramento, they're looking pretty good to make the playoffs. Unlikely that they get passed by both Phoenix and Memphis.

Dallas also holds the HTH tiebreak over Memphis. They're tied 1-1 with Phoenix (they play for the third time on April 12).

Memphis holds the HTH over Phoenix.

Tony Parker left today's game with back spasms.

Instead of Mills getting increased minutes (he played almost exactly his average), it was Joseph.

There's nothing wrong with discussing and predicting. There's something wrong with saying you told everybody on a forum you knew what was gonna happen all along when you didn't

Doesn't popovick play a straight 1-2 roster? Like doesn't he keep his second team intact and use bench players to fill in for starters?

It looks like this is his thing. Soxxx has the same disease as Mike Francesser.

In a football thread a couple months ago, he stated that he indicated Russell Wilson would be the best quarterback of the 2012 draft class. Of course, research indicates he wrote in 2012 that Andrew Luck would be the best.
