Soxxx, it's on nbatv incase you didn't know. They are up by 20 now and you csn just see the disgust in all of the Pacers players faces.

Thanks, I actually have everything though. Ill be home in less than 2 months anyway but at that point the playoffs will have begun. I get ABC, TNT, ESPN, YES, MSG, so I get my share of basketball. I could have paid $80 for the season (I did that last year) but I withheld because of loans. Its all good though

Im glad Pop is finally letting Patty played. He shoulda been playing last year, instead Manu and Neal were turning the ball over. (Yet despite that we still were in position to take the title). At least this season we now have a viable backup pg, which will help when Parker struggles (like in game 6 and 7). Marco's contributions have also been huge to.

I hope we get Memphis in the first round, a couple years ago they lost games intentionally, now they are fighting for their lives and wont be able to pick who they play.

Damn sixers blowing a ten point halftime lead. Hopefully the Knicks can win tonight to remain a game back

The bottom line is the Pacers are frauds and are ripe for the picking. Not only are they very vulnerable, to the Bulls, Nets, Raptors, Wizards....I would even give the Knicks a decent shot to knock them off. Pacers digest is having an absolute meltdown right now, its really hilarious. I feel bad for anyone who has gotten their hopes up for this team.

"it's awful, we've been in a downward spiral and we've been splintering a little bit," Roy Hibbert said

Pacers 12-11 since All Star Break.

    2-1 vs. Wizards
    2-1 vs. Knicks
    2-1 vs. Toronto
    2-2 vs. Chicago
    4-0 vs. Brooklyn
    2-1 vs. Atlanta
    2-1 vs. Charlotte
    2-1 vs. Miami

They have a winning record against anyone they might face, with the exception of Chicago (split series).

So what if they've slumped lately? They're still far better than the crap they'd face in the playoffs, with the exception of the Heat.

Oh, and since the break, here are 3 of their wins:

The Pacers would be a clear favorite on a neutral court against every team in the East except for Miami and possibly Chicago.

Now throw in the fact that they'd have home court and they're significant favorites.

    My prediction:

Miami or Indiana faces SA/OKC/Clippers in the finals

Memphis winning three series on the road is too unlikely, Houston is crushed by the loss of Beverly (with him I'd have them as the fourth possibility), Portland is far too inconsistent, Dallas and Phoenix have almost no shot of winning one series, let alone 3, and Golden State would be a threat with home court, but I can't see them winning the West without it. As for the East, the conference just stinks to the high heavens.

The Nets with the dumbest move of the offseason, bailing Boston out by sending them a lot for over the hill guys they wanted to get rid of (reminds me of the Dodgers bailing out the Red Sox, except the Dodgers just wasted a few hundred million dollars and didn't give up much in terms of players). In two years they'll have no rings, and no future. Basically, they'll be the Knicks at the end of Isiah's tenure. The best they can hope for is a series win or two before it all comes crumbling down.

I'm rooting for the Knicks for you guys. The Hawks are boring anyway.

Oh if you want a story, the Knicks are a story this year.

Anyways, the odds of winning EC finals, Heat and Pacers have the best odds according to this site.

    http://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/futures/

Again, like I repeated, the Pacers should be favored to reach the EC and if they don't it's a disappointment of a season. (injury caveat and what not)

Yisman I disagree with you about the Nets, tell me what else they were supposed to do? Sit with the old roster and never win a title? at least the moves they made gave them a chance, they probably wont win it this year or next but it was worth it.

All those stats are meaningless when you are as offensively challenged as the Pacers.

It's better for the NBA if the Knicks make the playoffs. Too bad the Pacers are choking away the #1 seed, has to make you think if they made the right decision trading Granger

Dumbest thing I've heard today. They own the Eastern Conference. It doesn't matter how "offensively challenged" they are.

They gave away far too much for two old past their prime guys the Celtics were looking to get rid of.

It was definitely not worth it. They didn't get any superstars and look at how much they gave up.

Garnett turns 38 during the playoffs and is constantly injured. Even when healthy, he's hardly a big time player.

Pierce, aka The Fake, was never a superstar and is now 36. His teams never did a single thing until Rondo, Garnett, and Allen all joined him (when they were younger). Even so, they won a grand total of one title.
