"Psycho T" Hansbrough is still crazy. http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....tyler-hansbrough-tackles-mike-dunleavy-video/
@Monroe_SA Just spoke w/ @tonyparker confirms he's NOT retiring after 2016 Rio Olympics; TP: 'Are you crazy? I love basketball, wanna play til i'm 38' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Danny Granger official bought out, LAC has big interest. Beno Udrih was claimed by the Grizzlies.
Several contenders will be interested in Granger. It's making a mockery of the system that Philly buys out an asset because they want to be sure not to have talent on their roster. This is what happens when you reward losing. Never understood why sports do that. I like Simmons' idea. Have a tournament for the last playoff spot or something. Or give every non-playoff team an equal amount of lottery balls.
yeah it's going to be one of the most difficult things for Adam Silver to solve, the tanking. Also Danny Granger is being sought out because of his name, not his play this year. His play this year has been average if I'm being nice
He has been disappointing (total non-factor this season, actually, and you could say since he's been injured he never managed to work his way back in for the Pacers) but he's talented. Philly knows it, everyone knows it. He's an asset that has value, and Philly just drops him because they're afraid he might help them win games. As far as him being disappointing, that goes without saying, really. If he wasn't, Indiana wouldn't have traded him for Evan Turner. Cleveland went into OKC tonight and won 114-104 They scored 42 in the 4th
I didn't say he was my best player, just that it sucks losing him. It's roughly a 25 man per team league, so it's not like i can just go hit up free agency for an equal player. Also, wtf is up with okc being 0-3 since Russell came back? Smh..
And Jan Vesely sucks. I've followed him a bit, as i considered adding him, (that's how deep this league is) and on a good night he'll get 5 points if he is active in the first place..
Yikes how many teams in the league? Try Jermaine O'Neal if he's still available. you can take a gamble on the rotating big men for Boston. Jason Thompson might be available. 25 means you have to dig deeper than those players probably. If we span out to include all players, see if Shabazz is available. He might be starting a hot streak. note that Millsap in ATL just missed 2 games, but he is expected back. Maybe grab someone on ATL if Millsap stays hurt. You could take a risk on Jrue and hope he comes back in time if he's available.
Jonas Valanciunas might be available on Toronto? Giannas crazylastname on MIL maybe? Kent Bazemore on LAL might be scooped up, but if people aren't paying attention he's getting big minutes from D'Antoni. Jerryd Bayless just had a big game. Keep an eye on Jimmy Butler. If he's hurt, Tom T plays Tony Snell big minutes. Dorrell Wright is a possibility with Lamarcus Aldridge banged up
Oh and instead of Jason Thompason, I forgot Reggie Evans was traded to SAC. Keep an eye on him and if he gets minutes.
It's a 12 team league. It has 18 starting spots, unlimited starts, 24 total man roster per team. I thought about O'neal awhile ago, but he's been since picked up. I had Turiaf, and have debated Shabazz...idk. I already have had Mike Scott all year for ATL. I have Jrue in my other league, but he'd never be available in this one. Milwaukee is my "home team," so I know about him. We call him the Alphabet here. I added Bazemore, and Marsh to my team, and they've been solid enough. I had Snell, but since dropped him.
Yeah I heard the Alphabet nickname, it's a great one. Yeah 24 man roster it makes things ridiculous. I'm in a 10 team league, 13 man rosters and max of 9 players can play a night. So the waiver field is on my end is drastically different than in your league
Don't get me wrong. My one other league is a 12 team league with 10 starting, and 13 total man roster. It can help though. I know about guys to possibly add, like Courtney Lee for example. Then I can consider him for the other league if he exceeds expectations.
Yeah that larger league definitely keeps you on top of who to pick up since it's going to going deep down onto lineups to pick up players. It's tough, really have to get lucky.
