they both are clear favorites to reach the ECF Here's odds to win the East Miami Heat 2/3 Indiana Pacers 7/5 Brooklyn Nets 18/1 Chicago Bulls 25/1 New York Knicks 25/1 Atlanta Hawks 40/1 Everyone else at least 50/1
Middle of the 2nd quarter and LAC is in full showtime mode. Everyoen throwing fake no look passes, fancy dribbles, some playground ball going on. If you're a Laker fun, it must be discouraging to watch
Ryan Anderson is out at least two months according to the Pelicans. Herniated disk, if it doesn't heal within the 2 months, will need season ending injury. Manu Ginobli comes back from injury, but Danny Green is out around a month with a fractured left hand. Chandler Parsons comes back for Houston tonight, was banged up the last few games. Believe it was his knee. Mario Chalmers is still out, missed the last few games for Miami. Rose doesn't need crutches anymore. That's the injuries I know of, I'm sure there's more. Pacers currently have the best record in the NBA. You can see the Heat struggling to get up for games now. They compete but their defense has not been as high intense as it usual is. That's fine, they're cruising this regular season and it seems they'd be fine with a 2 seed. Making 4 finals in a row is tough and rare.
Stephen A Smith saying 50-50 "if not better" right now that Lebron goes back to Cleveland. Ive been saying it since day one that he would return. Time will tell.
The last time the Heat had a 3 games losing streak, Jan 10-Jan 13 in 2012. They're coasting, with the loss they are now only 7 games ahead of the 3rd place team. I think if Chicago or somebody was breathing down their neck, we'd see a more focused, better Heat team. Greg Oden played! and dunked!
Sounds like there was a scuffle in PHX/LA game and Swaggy P hit Dragic in the face. Paul Coro @paulcoro 2m Lakers guard Nick Young shoved Alex Len for a foul in the face, gets shoved away by Marcus Morris and then Young hits Dragic in the face. Mark Medina @MarkG_Medina 1m It's clear that Young threw a punch at Dragic. Sasha Vujacic would be proud
Jimmy Butler played 60 minutes today! in a triple OT game CHI won. 48+5+5+5=63. So Jimmy played 60/63 minutes against the Magic
another Thursday, another time the two NY teams are featured Brooklyn/Atlanta in London this afternoon and then the Knicks lose in Indiana
ESPN insider does a breakdown of the NBA games with some stats, a projection, and it features a picture of the point leaders for both teams, and their PPG Brooklyn/Atlanta has pictures of Brook Lopez and Al Horford
