LA jumps out to a 2-0 lead Doughty's shot is then blocked, leading to a breakaway for Perry but Doughty slashes Perry's stick from behind, breaking it. Penalty shot Quick makes a great play, poke check then LA scores again. 3-0
Cory Perry of Anaheim is a bit of a chippy douche. Jonathan Quick's putting the clamp thus far on any plans by Anaheim of getting back in the game. Blackhawks-Kings in the Western Finals.
I nailed the West in the bracket. East didn't go as well. They're alternating ECF and WCF as usual, so the Kings get one day off. Game 1 is Sunday in Chicago.
Strange stat I just noticed when researching something: Chicago has been out-shot by close to 5 shots per game this playoffs. Averaging 26.4 shots, and allowing 31.1 shots.
Blackhawk flying, not down King has fallen Rangers, Heat, now Kings can't get it done. What's the line on at least one of those teams not sealing the deal
Great game last night. I expect the Kings and Rangers to close out each series at home, but you never really know.......

Rutherford, 65, said he expects to hold the position for 2-3 years while mentoring possible future general managers, including Jason Botterill, who was promoted to associate general manager. Botterill, who was the team's assistant GM, had been serving as interim GM since Ray Shero was fired May 16.
