Chelski and Man U get nice draws. Group G is a joke. Group C should be owned by PSG. Don't see Celtic with another great run this year.

Anybody watching the Super Cup game between Chelsea and Bayern Munchen?

Bayern scored a goal at the 121th minute to carry to game to PK shoot out.

What a game. Epic epic game.

Intense finish in the Arsenal/Spurs match as Scott Walker whiffed on what could have been a game tying goal.Obviously as a Liverpool fan I cannot be more happy after 3 matches. 6 winnable games in a row and hopefully we can make some noise this season.

Fuck yes! Arsenal finally make a big move. Sign Ozil from Real madrid.

Is it official? Not sure why Real Madrid let him go. Big big signing for Arsenal.

As Mesut Ozil is Turkish like me, I will follow Arsenal very closely this year.

Ozil apparently is a done deal.... found this to be funny

"Confirmation from Manchester United that three men who reportedly attempted to negotiate a deal to sign Athletic Bilboa midfielder Ander Herrera were not acting on behalf of the Premier League champions and were, for want of another word, imposters.

"Reports in Spain claim three men dressed in black suits and claiming to be United "representatives" spent an hour at the La Liga offices attempting to negotiate a deal. The move collapsed at the 11th hour."

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/23882862

Looks like Man U signed Fellaini, £27.5 million

Man U also attempted to sign Fabio Coentrao. No word on if that deal was done in time or not.

The balls on those 3 men...hahaha.

Also, Mourinho became a dick and caused Arsenal to wait around on the Ba deal and they missed out on the other strikers out there. Clearly Mourinho thinks Arsenal are a threat based on the move

Lol just now? The Special One has that Shawn Michaels quality where he's cool as hell but you know he's a dick. I'd say Arsenal had themselves quite the day anyway.

Everton should've sold on Baines if they were really offered 15 million pounds.

I saw some tweets that suggested that Man U should sign those 3 guys because they did more than Man U did..... Fellaini helps them but is he an upgrade over Kagawa? He's not the guy that will get them over the hump. And yes I think Jose sees Arsenal as a threat, probably moreso than Man City and Man U.

I actually really like what the Reds did. I really like the move to bring in Mamadou Sokho. Looks like Liverpool got stronger. Man U doesn't look invinceable at all as we saw yesterday and teams aren't intimidated by Moyes like they were Sir Alex. Could this finally be the year they stumble?

QPR made some nice moves (loans for 2 Spurs players Carrol and Assou-Ekouto) I wonder if they can actually stay up this time.

Another thing I want to mention about growth

In 2004(when I first came to USA) La Liga(Spanish League). Bundesliga(German league) and Premier League (English League) were all on Fox Soccer Channel.

That was 1 channel covering all Soccer in this country.

    Now it is 2013

We have soccer specific Fox Soccer 2
Also Fox Sports 1 covers Soccer at times.
    NBC Sports covers Premier League
beIN covers German League and Spanish League

ESPN has a special ESPN Soccer hour on ESPN News.

Soccer is getting a lot of attention lately.
