Did you even watch the week 1 home opener against the Bills?

I do think they have been holding back on the deception and "Tebow" plays just for this game. Call me crazy.

    But we will see......

Oh fuck ya. I bet we see the most Tebow we've seen.

This guy can be a weapon. Think of NYJ in shotgun with Sanchez and Tebow both standing in the backfield after establishing the run game as a threat. That will fuck with them. If we can establish the run game, everything opens up. If we can't run, or get run on, we're fucked. We're gonna need at least 27 pts methinks.

u would think this would be true. i mean if i was a coach u are damn right i would hold stuff just for the pats. whether they are tebow plays, new wrinkles, or whatever - different things should come out against the pats.

The pass rush was a lot better this week but I think we'll need an even bigger game from them next week. If they can improve a little bit and the oline can do as good a job making room for the run and/or giving Sanchez time in the pocket then I think we can win it.

My worry is that Sparano and Rex will just try to rely on gadget plays to win the game. We definitely will need to make some use of them (and Tebow) but I'm worried they are going to over compensate considering our opponent and make a mess of things.

On paper this should be a blowout. However; many times these games are surprisingly close even when the scales seem to be tipped toward one team. I still see us losing though. Nowhere near enough firepower on Offense to go toe to toe with these guys and Defense not good enough to slow them down.

Patriots coming off a loss will be out for blood. JETS coming off a big win - prob got their heads up their asses. Don't know how we will cover up Welker, Hernandez, and Gronk without Revis playing. That is just unfair. I expect the Patriots to try to run the ball a lot and pick on our nickle CB over and over again.

We're not winning this game. Don't let yesterday blind you. Much better shot at beating them on a short week at MetLife on Thanksgiving.

Rex has faced Brady 7 times since he's been here. The Pats put up 30+ points against us in 4 of those 7 games (and 3 of the last 4) ... and that was with Revis, and with the Pats having a very pedestrian running game.
That offense is going to light us up like Christmas Night. We can't cover them. The only way we keep this close is with big plays on special teams and turnovers. So that's what I'm hoping for.

This game is on Sanchez. The Patriots will not let the Jets run the ball. They'll load up and make Sanchez beat them. Pretty much the same game plan as Seattle, where they shut down Lynch and forced the 'Hawks to throw.

Will it backfire on them again, like it did yesterday? Maybe, if Sanchez can put a good game together. He doesn't have to be god-like, but he can't be god-awful. He just needs to make a handful of big plays at the right time.

On the flip-side, the Patriots will run the ball all day on NY, or at least they'll try to.

NE looks vulnerable, but they did last year also for the first match-up, if you recall. They were coming off back-to-back losses and that was supposedly a "changing of the guard" in the division game.

We'll see what happens on Sunday!

Both the teams seem to believe their press clipping too much so when they play well, they dial back the urgency just a tad. I don't think it will be a blowout but it's hard to imagine Brady coming up with another stinker.

this is not the Brady of old this is old Brady :) Just kidding he's still an amazing QB. The TEs aren't healthy. Gronk doesn't look like he did last season at all. That Patriots D is still playing poorly. The front 7 actually looks pretty decent but that secondary is just awful.

Jets struggle in foxboro so I don't expect a win by any means but it won't be as shocking to me now as I thought it would be a couple weeks ago.

The last 2 games in foxborough have been competitive. I dont see 45-3 occuring again.

Jets need to hit Brady on every play. If they do, they will have success.

You know, I don't disagree entirely about the Brady statement. Yes he's still a an amazing QB but he doesn't quite handle the adversity as well as he did when he was a younger buck. He still has the drive and still wants to suceed but his weaknesses are creeping in. Slowly but age takes it toll. That was why yesterday was such a shocker. Brady can have his bad days but to make the bad decisions like he did yesterday was a WTF moment.

Gronk is definitely nicked up and Welker got wacked badly yesterday. I'm hoping the Patriots running game will come back. I wasn't surprised Seattle was able to shut it down but will the Jet D be able to? You tell me. You watch them more then I do. That could be the difference Sunday.

Even though the Patriots D is still bad, it really is better then last year but who knows. If Sanchez gets a few big pass plays under his belt, who knows.

The game should have been close no matter what but it looks a lot closer then just a week ago.

That's because he's tough as nails but what I heard this morning he was hurting. Unless he somehow gets concussed and admits it he'll play on Sunday but how effective? Take that back. I'm sure he'll be fine...

(I understand he's getting older but the Pats should pay the man because the offense is till much better when he's in, TE's and all)
