No Revis - major hit. Have to face wallace, brown, and sanders.

I think you guys are seriously underestimating Antonio Brown. Kid is a flat-out stud...better than Wallace imo, who is just a burner (a good one at that).

I want to believe Mark has turned the corner on his struggles with consistency. I hope mark dosent panic in the face of a strong passrush. I think the jets would gladly settle for a loss in which mark stayed poised in the pocket and protected the ball vice the issues of last yr. If he can just do that the jets will have a punchers chance in the game and season.

It would be awesome if the jets went in there and BEAT their way to a victory. They have to take advantage of the pitt oline which has struggled. Rex has to find a way to get a passrush by hook or by crook.

Mark has to win this game, its that simple.

Won't matter with Ben on his butt or running for his life, their O-line sucks and can't protect the QB. Doesn't matter who your receivers are when you have no time to hit them.

James Harrison and Troy Polamalu are both out im hearing. So no excuses because Revis is out.

On the flip side, Rex may have to be more conservative with his blitzing because he doesn't have Revis as a safety net.

Revis out just increases the importance of our running game. Gotta keep Big Ben off the field.

I know I'm not. He's your guys primary receiver seeing how wallace missed out. The guy can run routes very good and has quick feet. He kind of reminds me of a Pierre Garcon type of player.

Okay Revis is out so now all you have to do is deal with Cromartie, and Cro is still a top CB in this league. So still not easy to beat the Jets deep, plus the Steelers O-line was purchased from WalMart last week (on sale).

Jets: Offense basically intact. Defense missing Revis but basically intact.

Steelers: Offensive line in tatters. Runningback position in flux. Defense missing key players.

    ADVANTAGE: JETS

Well now that Revis out it falls back to our offense and defensive line. The offense has to has to win the time of possession battle. Coples and the rest of the d-line need to get to the quarterback. Really we still have a chance, but with Revis out it will definitely hurt our chances.

The Steelers aren't my team...I just don't see them losing at home when they're desperate and Revis is out. Vegas agrees.

Well that's good. Don't know if I would say it's a wash for Revis but the importance of Polamalu in their gameplan has got to be around the same level as Revis in ours.

No Harrison and No Polamalu is a huge advantage. 2 most impactful players on their D imo. Their pass rush is no where near as good without both edge rushers in there and Troy is always a threat to make a big play.

This game with 2 of the best Ds in the league is going to be dictated a lot by offenses this weekend. Which O will be able to take advantage of the opposing Ds weaknesses.

I loved Sparano's game plan for week 1 lets hope for an equally impressive encore this week.

What's Conner's chances of playing? Saw he's listed as Questionable.

Looks like Mendenhall, Polamalu AND Harrison are all unlikely to play Sunday

Cromartie started 3 games back in 2010 as the #1CB when Revis was out with the hamstring injury and did a very good job. On most teams Cro is the #1CB so I don't see this as a tremendous problem. It's not like the Jets are stating a rookie or even a first or second year player in Revis place, they have a very experienced CB who is still one of the top players at the position in the NFL. This is a luxury not too many teams have if any.

The problem is the Steelers are also very deep at WR. With Revis out Lankster and Trufant get more playing time then I am comfortable with.

I think the Jets D-line will put significant pressure on Rapist-Burger and that will also make the passing game more difficult for them. It's definitely a luxury to have Cromartie move over to #1 when something like this happens. It's not like Wallace and Brown are saying "Great Revis is out! Now all I have to get by is Cromartie!". No way, they're probably saying "Okay Revis is out, but I still have my hands full with Antonio Cromartie".

I just think the Steelers have too many missing pieces here, and not just for this game either. The Steeler are a flawed team this year. Their defense has some older players and now they're missing some significant pieces in this game. I really don't think this looks too good for them... not just here but going forward too.

Again, not to be overly negative, but our offense isn't intact -- we're playing without last year's leading receiver.

Brown's a stud, Wilson's gonna have his hands full.

Did Thomas play last week? I suppose Maybin is starting..or are we doing base 4-3 with Scott & Pace as the outside backers?
