I normally don't listen to fat mike "on", but I can't agree with him more than i do now..and it sickens me because like most jet fans, I can't stand the guy. But he is right in everything he is saying. The studdering Jet(Tebow) fans that call just embarrass themselves, so blindly clueless.

Which is exactly why I can't stand this team now...they're proving Francesa right about almost everything.

Shut up Francesa!! Let everyone voice their opinions without you shouting over them!! Please!! If there is a God, please make Tebow take over for Sanchez and lead us to the Super Bowl, just to make this fat ass know-it-all eat his words. Ugh.

I have to give MT alot of credit for not telling Fatsessa to go F himself. Fatsessa kept asking basically the same questions, worded a little differently, over, and over , and over. That interview was a horror show, even for Fatty. My two cents is that I don't care that if part of the idea was that it would increase revenues to have Tebow, that's what every business is about. The bottom line is that we are a better team with Tebow as our back-up, than with Stanton. Wasn't it the concensus after last season that we had to bring in someone to push Sanchez, and to have a better alternative at back-up? Well this move, does that. As far as the potential media circus next year goes, all the Jets players and staff have to do is refuse to talk about stupid Tebow questions. Look, if Sanchez "can't deal with the potential of Tebow pushing him, than Sanchez is not the guy I wan't as my QB. Personally, I think Sanchez, and the Jets will be a better team for getting Tebow, especially for a 4th and 6th. Time will tell.

You guys are 100% right. This whole thing is embarassing.

  11. For the life of me...i just cannot understand how a back-up Quarterback traded for a mid round pick is a disasterous end of a franchise. For those of you panicking and calling for the FO's head...the media has you right where they want you.Buying into a controversy that doesn't need to exist.

Bottom line is...The jets are telling Sanchez to put up or shut up. If sanchez reacts to this in the proper way and steps up into the leader he needs to b, tebow sits on the bench, comes into the game for 3-4 wildcat plays a game and becomes an afterthought by midseason.

Perfectly said. The media doesn't create controversies the team does. The team has done nothing wrong with this situation and yet people are acting like the sky is falling. Nothing has gone wrong why is everyone so sure everything will fall apart.

Ideally, yes that would be great. If Sanchy plays well and tebow gets 3-4 snaps/game, that means the O is playing good. What if Sanchez sucks and Tebow gets his 1st downs/goalline TD's? FO pressure to start him, Sanchez not improving. TT wants to start (and every player should feel that way).

IF, at any reason, Tebow does start, now we have an untradeable $20M+ QB sitting the bench and we're a gimmick offense.

Nothing says support your franchise QB like yanking him out of the game X amount of times for gimmick plays, not trusting him to get 1st downs or TD's. If it's not Sanchez who'll lead us past the pats, it's not going to tebow (and his play style) either.

  15. Well why worry about it before it happens? If Tebow beats out Sanchez, than Sanchez was never our guy to begin with. The tebow mania is serving a purpose. Mark is now FORCED to shape up and put this team on his back. Because if he doesn't...yeah tebow mania will eat him alive.

I may have to keep my radio off of him for a week. He is overheating in his hatred for the Jets.

He'll be talking about this every day until the next season is over or until it backfires in his face. His hatred for the Jets is so personal due to his bloated ego. How dare the Jets show their disrespect to God and boycott him last year. He'll be talking trash about the Jets even when they are throwing the dirt on the piano box they bury him in.

Completely agree. It's amazing that so many Jets fans are buying into what Francesa is saying. Then you have all these Giants fans calling up pretending they're Jets fans and fawning over fat Mike and killing the Jets.

If and when we do win a Superbowl Mike Tannenbaum should be allowed to publicly tar and feather Mike Francessa.
