Tank just defended the Jets. that's right, not a typo! a caller said they were a 4 win team and he laughed and said not a chance. the defense is too good to be a 4 win team. said he thinks they're a 500 team. if things go wrong 6 or 7 wins. if EVERYTHING goes right 9. everything goes right = 9 wins? we have a higher ceiling then that.
Do we? In 2009 with the #1 running game, the #1 defense and a pretty good OL we only won 9 games. I see us in the 6-9 win category. Anything else would be shocking.

The Jets are probably a 7 or 8 win team at this point. Getting a bit unlucky for 6 or lucking out at 9 are reasonable outcomes based on that. It'll take bad injury luck for the Jets to bottom out at 4 wins and by bad injury luck I mean losing Mangold or D'Brick or Harris or a few other starters instead. Losing Sanchez and having McElroy be a failure. That kind of stuff.

Had to bump this thread. In the 5 PM hour yesterday, he was pathetically hilarious. He was ripping the Jets about the stadium, ticket prices, and perks for season ticket holders. He was citing how loyal the Giants fans are and how they sell out. Did he even go over the Giant loss? As for the perks for ticket holders, what does he want the Jets to give them, access to the fucking showers?
