I need to see the new Jones/Kobe video. First glance it looked like Kobe kicked his leg out to draw the contact. Hopefully somebody online has different angles than the game broadcast

ESPN suspended Bill Simmons for tweeting that Skip, Richard Sherman, and ESPN should have been embarrassed by the First Take segment featuring the two above. That's what Deadspin claims. Bill was scheduled not to be on NBA countdown last night, not related to suspension. Interesting. Just mentioning it hear to remind myself to see if he is on the show Friday

He's not suspended. They just told him he can't tweet for three days as a punishment. That's it.

Haha what? Really? I must have read it wrong. That's a really uh interesting punishment. Makes no sense except to say "we saw what you said and don't like it"

This Spurs Mavs game is fun. TNT got a good first game even though PArker is missing

Mavs only had the lead once, I believe, at 78-77 after a Dirk 3

Manu took that shot too early in the shot clock. Got to think this ball gets to Dirk for a shot for the game winner

Vince Carter iso with a long 3. Close but doesn't fall.

TNT reporting with the win, Spurs clinch playoff spot

Knicks lead after 1. Felton looks like he's going to come up a little short.

The Bucks usually give the Heat a rougher time than that. Ellis was off tonight. I can't believe the Grizzlies have the 4th best NBA record, especially after the trade. The Warriors continue to fall, playoff race with LA story, Houston, and other good teams continue to heat up the the race.

Almost had a +1200 parlay but lost on Houston. I took -9 of course. It was only risk 2, win 24 though.

Spurs need parker, if he comes back healthy then they will win the West. They are the one team I feel that can beat the Heat and give them many problems. Especially if Tiago Splitter is playing well, that will be a mismatch for the heat

They think Parker can come back in time for the 3/31 (?) matchup against the Heat.

Them vs the Thunder will be fun again if it comes down to that. I think both SA and OKC will want to avoid LA and get GS/HOU instead. Dwight Howard can be annoying to play especially if he's healthy.

Nobody should be favored to beat the Heat but right now I could see

Indiana (Roy Hibbert seems to be playing much better)

Spurs (Pop should be able to outcoach Spoelstra, but Brooks one upped Pop last year)

Thunder(Comes down to Brooks willingly going to the small lineup and realizing Perkins is useless against MIA most of the time)

Grizzlies (ZBO+Gasol, Heat will have to throw out Bosh/Birdman/Haslem a lot, Lebron as good as he is, would get into quick foul trouble against Gasol/Zbo. I don't think MEM can reach the finals though. It also throws the Heat into a big lineup to close or try to cross matchup Bosh on Gasol then Lebron on Zbo? But then on the other end ZBO is chasing Battier? Depends on which team folds first to counter the other team's lineup. Last year neither team folded and the small Miami lineup torched the big Perkins/Ibaka lineup)

displaced, I watched the ACC title game and Vitale and Shulman were talking about how they bet LeBron and Wade were watching the game because they're such big fans.

ESPN announcers so lazy they can't even pull up an NBA schedule to see the Heat had a game at the same time.

hahaha classic ESPN. They mention that everytime MIA plays that a couple times Wade/Bron went to MIA games this year.

I'm pretty sure BOS ended Houston's streak at 22.
