Awful free throw shooting by Jordan Hill and Dwight Howard is killing the Lakers. Combined 3 for 16!!!!!!! Also Nash has been invisible.
Howard's shooting has gotten worse since his Orlando days. They're going to pay him the max and pay $90 million in luxury tax next year? I guess they have to but man it doesn't look good.
What a disaster that was lol. I guess you kind of expected that they'd need some tuning up but man that was bad.
Howid fouled out, he flagrantly fouled a guy and he missed a lot of foul shots. An utta disasta. Dis kid Jae Crowda from Mahket looks good.
I told you awwllll dat da Lakiz wah old and slow. Old and slow!! Awll Nash did was bring da bawlll up and den stand around. Bounce bounce bounce bounce. Is dat what you got Nash faw? Waitaskent, get me Doctah Buss on da phone!
I got buried on the ML. I should've known better because the Lakers don't exactly have a good history in these kinds of games, but I got -440 when the market was -475 and I couldn't resist.
Jonny Flynn is now out of the NBA. What a washout. Drafted 6th overall in 2009 after being a pretty good player at Syracuse, and now no team wants him. Portland traded Camby for him and Thabeet, then let both walk. Detroit signed Flynn and then quickly waived him. Also Terrence Williams was selected 11th in 2009 out of Louisville (he had appeared on three straight SI covers) and is also out of the NBA. Same thing as Detroit signed and quickly waived him.
Yeah it looks efficient from the statline, but you can never tell. He has 34 points, 11 assists, and 5 rebounds with about 3 minutes left in the game.
Flynn not finding some level of success in the NBA shocked me. At Syracuse he was a great player, and while I thought he needed one more season to be truly ready, I felt he would eventually pick up on the NBA game. SU players have a recent track record of jumping a year early, Donte Greene, Flynn, Wes Johnson and now Dion Waiters. It's going to be interesting to see if Waiters pans out going forward.
probably the best game Harden has ever played. Last year at Phoenix he had 36 minutes, 12/17, 5/8 3s, 11/11 FTs, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 40 points
Austin Rivers has 2 assists in his debut. That's 2 more assists than I thought he would get this season. If you can't tell, I don't Rivers will become a good NBA until he changes from a volume shooter acting PG to either a create first pass point guard or attack the rim shooting guard.
