Lowe: Not sure why Bynum factors in here. Would it change anything for the Lakers if Bynum were healthy and putting up 15-10? Simmons: That goes without saying. Howard wouldn't be interested in coaching and I'm sure he'd suck at it, too. But what a strange comment to make about a 27 year old. You could say that about the vast majority of NBA players.
I didn't get the hair line either when I was reading through. Simmons wanted throw in a joke there so he talked about coaching
Lakers 4 games out of the playoffs, 3.5 games out of last place in the West. Simmons made this point, will Kobe chase records as a Laker, scoring a ton of points and doing that, or will he slide onto another team to chase that 6th ring? Because if he wants that ring, he's not going to be the focal point of the offense on the team.
Barkley announced in Philly earlier this week. Tonight he's announcing in Phoenix. He's making the grand tour, I guess.
Sooo..what's taking so long for the Slam dunk contestants, and 3 point shootout contestants to be announced? What are they waiting for? How is it decided?
Reggie Miller with a stupid prediction. He guarantees the Lakers will make the playoffs, saying "it may be in the 8th spot", as if the Lakers could get a higher seed  Lakers are 6 games behind #7 I'd love to bet against Reggie
Barkley keeps repeating that Crawford and JR Smith deserved to make the All Star team. Ludicrous. He also says Steph Curry was robbed and can't name a single guy he would've left off. I agree on Curry and disagree on the first two.
JR Smith?? WTF is Barkely on crack? I can think of 5 other guys on our team alone I'd vote in over him. Yeah he can create his own shot, but he bricks em constantly and is extremely streaky and inconsistent on offense to say the least.
Finally someone addresses the idiocy of insisting that Jamal Crawford belongs on the West All Stars. http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-t...e-a-new-plan-for-the-all-star-team-selections
Spurs are beating the Mavs and aren't herring a single call. Brand hit Parker in the Dave with two different elbows on the same play... no call, Parker now has stitches. Funny how the NBA apologists in this thread are the ones that cry the loudest about NFL injustice. Both you pennies know who you are.
Defend the most corrupt pro sport in the country. Attack the second most corrupt sport in the country. What is the difference between their commissioners?
