Thought this was a solid move OKC. Sam Presti basically said, okay you don't want to sign and you aren't going to be a distraction. Houston sent 2 firsts and a second on top of the players. I like it for OKC.

So their starting lineup is Westbrook, Sefolosha, Durant, Ibaka, Perkins? Maynor as backup PG?

their starting lineup is the same

now they just have martin off the bench rather than Harden

Maynor is the backup PG. He should've been the backup PG last year but obviously was injured. It was too bad because he's one of the best backups in the league.

Ha yeah, I don't know why I whiffed on that. Martin for Harden and Lamb as a rookie if necessary.

Will be interesting to see what their closing lineup is.

Ray Allen comes over and greets KG by tapping his shoulder.

    KG ignores him

I have two fantasty basketball teams this year, Lebron is on one of them. Had to do it with my first pick.

Celtics/Heat intense like usual. From everything I've read, it seems that the Celtics might be too focused on beating the heat. That's been their mantra all offseason and with their moves. If they aren't careful, they might be home this spring wondering if they still get to play the Heat after losing to the Pacers.

And this was mentioned here? Stern retiring in 2014

Earlier today the Wyoming Platypuses dropped Hedo Turkoglu and added Kawhi Leonard.

Good name and Kawhi looked solid last year. Going to be in the league for a long time in my opinion.

And of course Charles and Shaq go on and on about it. The TNT show is outrageous. I still can't decide if I like it or not.

ABC countdown crew added Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose. They took out Jon Barry and Chris Broussard I believe.

And NBA confirms Knicks at Nets will play in BK on Thursady. Weather won't delay it.

Thanks. I enjoy taking the ridiculous team name route.

Leonard should be an all-around useful player.

I don't like Broussard. Glad to see him out. I don't like Magic either.

    Or Shaq.

I posted that in the Knicks thread.

Always helps that you play with Duncan, Pop, and etc around you. Spurs are a great place to learn and grow.

Yeah. Random note seeing Magic's name, the Dream Team book is a great read. I never got around to the Jordan Rules, so going to read that in the near future.

Didn't see that. I figured I would post in the NBA thread instead of finding the Knicks and Nets threads. I'm lazy

LeBron in locker room with cramps. Celtics creeped back into this game. I'm expecting a Ray Allen dagger from the Heat side eventually. Would be funny to see

Celtics cut it to 4, Bosh scores on KG to put it to 6. Rondo misses wide open mid range jumper (surprise surprise), Bosh fouled and makes both and Miami now up 8 with about a minute left

Pierce tries to draw foul as he goes for a tough layup with 3 guys around. Doesn't get foul, misses shot, fouls Bosh, Miami up 9 as Bosh splits free throws.

Barbosa (who was on fire) missed an open corner 3. Bosh dunk, we are at 11 point lead with 30 seconds lefts.

    Game over

Players exchange words as Rondo grabs Wade from behind around his neck area as he's driving. Not too forcefully as Wade on stays on his feet. Definitely unnecessary, refs call it a flagrant 1.

Usually Rondo waits until mid season to play dirty and get really frustrated with refs. Now he starts game 1 of the season. He already received a tech for snapping at a ref earlier this game

Haha are sure? It looks like my last post was the 22nd in there. I might have been viewing it as it's probably tucked away in one of many tabs

Hey, the good news is that at least Doc Rivers hasn't talked obsessively about beating this team for four months.

Why does everyone on the Heat look like douche bags? Oh, right...because they ARE douche bags. Fuck the Heat.

you're right, it was someone else, not you. I thought it said you were the last poster. In any case, I didn't search for it. It was like 7th from the top.
