Portland beat Denver without LaMarcus Aldridge. Portland shot only 35% in the win, while Denver went 0/21 for three.
going by the records, this is their first above average team since the 04-05 season. They missed the playoffs but did go 44-38. Garnett, Cassell, and Spreewell were the top players.
Pretty much, Minnesotas been trash from 05 on, good to see em playing better this year tho. Steve Nash comes back for the Lakers tonight. I want to see how he plays with the team now
http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/...ngeles-lakers-lineup-vs-golden-state-warriors "D'Antoni also said Darius Morris will start at shooting guard and Metta World Peace will come off the bench." ----- huh?
Also, my first time watching Damian Lillard, WOW. He's making some TOUGH shots as a rookie in the 4th in a close game
Some terrible late game execution from PHX trying to get that typing 3. JJ Hickson goes 19 pts and 15 rebounds, nice stat line
Nice to see Dirk back on the court in primetime. Hopefully this game comes down the wire with KD and Dirk trading ridiculous shot after shot
So Mavs are down 3, inbounding with 2.2 seconds left in the front court. The pass went to Vince who awkwardly tapped it back to Marion who was inside the 3 pt line. He threw it to Collison who had one foot behind the 3 point line, caught it and shot it in one motion. As the ball was in the air he looked dejected, and it went in to the tie game. Words can't do this justic, you have to see the play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LMm8aI_cbE&feature=youtu.be
Wade suspended for yet another dirty play by him. He kicked Ramon Sessions in the crotch on Wednesday. Somehow, the blind officials didn't call anything on him.
ESPN had an article somewhere that the players are starting to dislike this "new" Wade because it's been a recent rash of these dirty moves.
yeah, according to Wade it was "accidental" Just like he "accidentally" grabbed Kobe around the head and broke his nose in an All Star game.
Lebron goes 32 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists in a OT game against DAL. Skip on First Take attacks Lebron for missing a game winning shot in the 4th quarter. Complains that Lebron has only made 2 walk off shots in his career which is a problem, says Lebron has no "clutch gene". There has to be something to Lebron putting games away before a buzzer beater is needed, like game 6 against BOS last year. Also from grantland on "clutch shots" "James going 18-of-38 over 66 qualifying minutes and Durant a scorching 19-of-36 in 63 such minutes, per NBA.com's stats database. " Skip is such a joke. His argument is that MJ was better at that than Lebron yet Skip is the same guy saying Lebron should not be compared to Lebron. "Lebron should have won the ring he was on the best team of basketball last year". Uhh the reason MIA was the best team last year was because of Lebron. Skip then kills Lebron, down 1 with 14 seconds left, drives and kicks the ball to Battier who hits a wide open 3. Skip is also "Thunder fan" now. Also says KD doesn't pass the ball late in games to other players, which is wrong.
Speaking of 'accidental', did anyone catch that nice little shove that Amar'e gave Stephen Jackson over the top of a waitress last week? I usually don't wish injury on players, but I hope Stoudemire tears his knee apart at some point this season.
You really have a problem with Knicks players don't you? First Baron Davis, now Amare  I don't think Amare is able to comprehend that his bump would perfectly cause Jackson to take 2 steps at a 45 degree angle from his spot right onto a courtside waitress. Amare 100% in his head was thinking, "This closing out thing is difficult and new to me" If this was Rondo, KG, DWade, Chris Paul, I could believe you. But Amare literally is learning how to play defense and I have not seen him do anything like this as a Knick. He likes to swing elbows like every big guy, that's about it.
