Wow, what a bullshit call on Brandon Marshall. He barely made contact with Webster, much less pushed off.
Steve Young? Really? None of those QBs were primarily scrambling QBs. Best case scenario (in my opinion) for Cam Newton is a faster version of Ben Roetlisberger.
Probably the single most retarded fanbase on the face of this earth. I think the top selling items @ Sunlife Stadium are pureed peas and apple sauce.
Even if you get your wish and the Dolphins miss out on Luck, we get Barkley. Sanchez will be the worst QB in the AFC East no matter what next season.
Young started out very skittish in the pocket. McNabb is the prototype for converting from a scrambler to a pocket passer though. He used to try to run on every play where his first option wasn't open early in his career, and by the end of his time with the Eagles he barely left the pocket. Granted, his transition was more about getting fat than it was about evolving his game, but still. In any case, I don't think that it's fair to Newton to label him a pure scrambler like a Vick or a Young. His running ability is definitely a weapon, but both at Auburn and in the NFL he's shown himself perfectly capable of sitting in the pocket and letting plays develop. And I think that Roethlisberger is a very good comparison for Newton, by the way.
