I'm starting to think Cruz may be developmentally disabled. Two weeks in a row he caused backbreaking boneheaded turnovers. One week the ref bailed him out with a horrible call. The next week he wasn't as lucky.

I think that Cutler is very underrated. He's far from an elite QB, but he generally does a solid job with a shitty receiving corps and a questionable O-line. I've always suspected that the media is especially hard on Cutler because he's an asshole (for example, if someone who "plays the game the right way" like Matt Ryan left a playoff game with a knee injury, you'd never hear the media speculating that he was faking it.) Bad pick by Matty Ice Pack to end the first half. Either he didn't see that there would be safety help or he badly underthrew the ball. Either way, not good.
Forget being a dirty player, Meriweather's problem is that he's a stupid player. Gotta give Jim Schwartz and Gunther Cunningham a lot of credit, they've really done a great job rebuilding the Lions defense in a really short amount of time. Cutler's been pretty impressive tonight. Lord knows his O-Line hasn't given him a lot of help.
Jahvid Best just ran 88 yards without even being touched. If this is the best that the Bears defense can do, then they've got no chance to be a playoff team.
