I almost never defend a player blowing up at his teammates on the field, but someone's gotta help Romo out. His center's snapping the ball with no regard for the snap count, his blockers are letting him get knocked down every play, and his receivers have been bailing on routes all night. Also, I can't get over the urge to punch Jason Garrett in the face every time he comes on camera. Dunno what it is about him, but I can't stand the Princeton ginger (now that I think about it, that's probably what it is.)
Can someone explain to me why the Redskins tried to pass downfield 4 straight times with 4 minutes to go and a 1 point lead? Shanahan is aware that he has a great running game and Rex Grossman at QB, right?
OK, nobody's allowed to make fun of Romo for at least one week. If the Cowboys win this game, it's Mike and Kyle Shanahan's fault--passing on 4 straight plays instead of running down the clock was flat out retarded. Just another reminder that the Jets aren't the only team whose offensive coaches make unfathomably stupid decisions.
I don't think that stopping Rex Grossman from executing a 2 minute drill is as impressive as Jon Gruden does.
