You're right of course, but it did look like Reid should have used it (and would have then gotten the third). Ridiculously easy TD drive for Philly.
I agree that he should have used it (as shown by extended review by the NBC crew, it would have been almost certainly overturned), but Collinsworth completely screwed up what the situation was. If Reid knew he'd have another challenge regardless, he may have risked it. The way it was, had he lost he would've been out of challenges, as opposed to what was said on TV, that he already had another challenge anyway.

He led with his shoulder? I know the first thing that hit maclin was his head but at that angle it doesn't make sense to use your head for a tackle. It looked like he was leaning with his shoulder and ended up smacking heads.
He led with the crown of his helmet right into Maclin's facemask. Lowering your helmet like that is an asshole move.
