Atlanta Chicago Detroit Giants Cowboys (in line for division, but wild card could come into play) all lose
There was nothing "incidental" about it. His shove was completely unnecessary, and it wasn't justified by anything that the official did. Something that a player does to you earlier doesn't justify shoving an official either. It is simple... you just are not going to get away with that. IMO the Lions have no business feeling sorry for themselves about the penalties tonight. When you are acting like completely undisciplined punks play after play, game after game, you can't be surprised when the refs get flag happy. Responding like this certainly doesn't help your future chances.
Meh, the Lions got jobbed on a few calls in the first half. And then got baited into stupid penalties in the 2nd half. You can't win playing stupid. Stafford played pretty well, but still locks on too much. Pretty sure he has no faith in the OL and just rips it on his initial reads. Lost in all the penalty idiocracy is the they played pretty well down some key players on D. Team has had 9-7, 8-8 written on them for a while now.
Basically, FOX didn't have enough games. Originally it was going to be a CBS game on SNF (Indy/NE), but when NBC flexed an NFC game instead, it left an unbalanced slate. So the NFL moved a CBS game to FOX. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7...ow-night-denver-broncos-minnesota-vikings-fox
No, it was not. It is a rule. Pettigrew shoved him, you are not being honest with yourself about what happened. I will assume that he is on your fantasy team, because your over the top and irrational reactions to it make no sense.
I think he was trying to give him credit for planting his back foot and getting everything behind the throw instead of tossing a fadeaway like he sometimes does. I like Gabbert, he needs a lot of coaching but he's got a lot of raw potential. In a perfect world, he would be sitting behind Garrard this season. I wonder if the Los Angeles Jaguars will have mustache night during week 1 in 2014.
a shootout rivers to brown TD, after Jacksonville had a passing TD two passing TDs in about a minute and a quarter
sd picks it off, have good field position first play? handoff up the middle, followed by no timeout wasted like 20 seconds
but it ends up not costing them completion, followed by another completion, this one to VJ for a long TD three passing TDs in about 2 minutes and 20 seconds
Looks like the Jacksonville defense woke up the SD passing game. Rivers to Floyd, another long TD. 31-14
mnf almost always has terrible matchups, but this is really something chargers/jaguars followed up by rams/seahawks Can't we get colts/chiefs or browns/redskins?
