If there's an example of a QB with a world of talent that absolutely just makes horrible choices that cost their team a ton of games it's rivers this year. He's just made bad decision after bad decision this year, but he's also made some great plays, but you cannot argue his bad plays have turned a team that should be dominating the West to a team struggling to make the playoffs.
Falcons hold on and help the Jets. A lot of things helped the Jets today - Buffalo, Cincy, Tennessee, San Diego losing. Oakland winning is just about the only thing that didn't go the right way.
It's almost disappointing that Rivers threw the Chargers' last chance immediately after they got the ball back. It distracts from Norval managing to waste not one, but two timeouts on a challenge that he had no chance of winning.
Nacho would've been shipped off to Salem, MA if he threw that. Instead its an unlucky mistake for Eli, at least thats how the Giants fans i'm watching with rationalized it.
Vince Young looks more confident than I have ever seen him. He also looks worse than I have ever seen him.
Remarkably bad pass defense by Corey Webster, allowing Jackson to catch a ridiculously underthrown pass. Edit: unbelievable - Jackson gets a taunting penalty after the play that wipes out the 50 yard gain. Just about the stupidest play you'd ever want to see.
That call made no sense. Normally, the taunting would be enforced after the play. So since there was also a penalty during the play against the Giants, the entire play is wiped out? That's penalizing the Eagles for there being a penalty on the Giants. No defending Jackson, he's always been a Cruz-type moron.
