seriously, if KC is getting through with just 3 rushing, this is going to be a LONG night for the Pats offense. Which is a good thing by the way :breakdance:
Brady is awful tonight, isn't he? Where is his internal clock? Why doesn't he throw it away? Funny how terrible OL play makes ANY QB look bad, isn't it???
Gruden missed the Cheats/Giants game and the playoff game last year, apparently. He doesn't recall this kind of thing happening in the last few years. Snatch Grabber playing defense again tonight. long night for any offense
Pretty disturbing that the Pats offense has looked awful for the last 2 months with the exceptions of both Jet games.
Gruden does this every week. He makes outlandish statements to hype the game and the players. Last week was something tto the effect, "Jennings is the best deep threat in the league"
Well, that was more like what you'd expect - just don't bother covering Gronkowski on a crossing route.
Awful might be a little strong for the entire two months, but I absolutely agree that the Jets defense tremendously underachieved in both games against the Pats. That offense has certainly been no better than average since October.
That BS holding call changed this entire game. What crap. I guess somebody from the NFL buzzed down from Kraft's box to the refs saying that we can't have the Pats lose this game on national TV because the earth will spin off its axis or something like that and bingo, a phantom hold stops a Chief drive and the game turns completely around. Seriously, when is the NFL going to tell the officials NOT to throw a flag unless they are absolutely positively sure they saw a penalty. Just because a defender is manhandled doesn't mean there was holding and just because a receiver gets open (Burress) doesn't mean there was offensive PI.
The Chiefs??? Seriously? I am not concerned about the Chiefs one bit. It is going to come down to the Ravens/Steelers/Bengals and the Jets most likely.
