Love the call to go for it, hate the call to run a play fake. If you don't trust your O-line to get half a yard, kick the field goal.
going for it was the right decision the woodson thing made no sense if they didn't see the punch, what was the penalty for?
I actually wanted to see them call the play fake on 3rd and short. On 4th and short, you might as well kick the field goal.
So based on this how the fuck did the Jets hold Green bay to only 9 points. Said a lot for the defense.
hated the playcall, loved the idea to go for it. If you don't get it, at least they are deep in their own zone. If they were a playing anything less than an amazing offense, I'd say take the points.
Please explain to me how going for it was the right move when you've been moving the ball on them all night and you have an entire quarter left, and kicking a field goal will get you within one score of the lead? This is coaching 101 guys.
The Saints defense has proven pretty definitively that they can't stop the Packers offense at all, so I like the decision to try and get a touchdown. The problem was that Payton called for a play fake when everyone and their mothers knew that the Pack were going to rush 6. You've gotta trust your O-Line to get that half yard.
