Was down to Smith and Wilk for the Eagles pick....was thinking a bigman spree was about to start up though so went with the latter. Good pick though 624.
Had to go with a CB to play on the opposite side of McCourty, and I didn't see good enough value to go OG or OT at this spot. The Pats' defense is really getting revamped in this draft, I like the way it's turning out. EDIT: Thanks a lot Mr. E
My Chargers realize that Gates is on the other side of 30 and injury prone. McMichael is old as the hills. Chargers get a huge playmaker. Plus...Rudoplh has fallen far enough.
I was probably going to take him if he fell to Carolina at the beginning of the third. ...too good of a value to pass up. Good pick.
I realized an hour ago Rudolph was still on the board, I was thinking of taking him with my next Texan pick but I realized that wouldnt work with another injury prone TE. Nice Pick WW
About damn time Rudolph went! Can really see him go potentially in early round 2. Rivers will really like Kyle Rudolph as a target if or when Gates has that annual injury he seems to have. Good pick WW85.
He was one of my final four for my early 2nd rounder with AZ. Great pickup. Also, Jam hit a home run with Patrick, I have him behind only Peterson, Amukamara, and Harris at corner, he's better than a lot of the guys taken over him in this draft.
Seriously contemplated Rudolph, as you know, but I felt I comfortable than a few I'm targeting will be available in the 3rd. Great pick for the Bolts though! I thought Leo Hankerson was great value were he fell, not a dire need, but he can push Jenkins while taking the 3rd WR job from a gimpy Harry Douglas. Got to keep talent around Matt Ryan...
IMO, like Taylor, Acho is gonna rise. He had a good week and a good game. If he has a good combine, like I think he will, he has a good chance to be an early 2nd round pick. As of now I still think he is a late 2nd to early 3rd round pick.
Barksdale may be a bit of a reach now, but I see him rising by draft time to the late 2nd - early 3rd. Plus, he has LT potential which increases his value hugely to the Bears. I really needed to grab someone now before all LT worthy prospects were gone.
I've watched Barksdale for two years now, he was really good his junior year at RT, but only ok at Left Tackle as a senior. I feel like he just doesnt have the anger/toughness/sense of urgency when he is blocking. But the Bears need all the help they can get
