Matt Ryan vs CHI or Matthew Stafford vs TB? Kenny Britt vs JAC or Brandon Lloyd vs OAK? Help much appreciated
Hasselbeck has quite a few weapons in Tennessee. I don't know what kind of offense Munchak wants to run though. They may be super conservative and just run the football a ton.
Stafford vs TB Britt vs JAC(Only because Lloyd will get matched up on Stanford Routt, who is a killer CB)
McNabb's O-Line is gonna let him down vs a top defense in the Chargers, so he's out of the picture. Not huge on Hasselback and I think the Jags defense is decent(Its the offense that's going to stink). I would say Campbell hesitantly.
Malcolm Floyd against a rotating shit of suck at the 2nd Vikings CB spot with Rivers throwing the ball..... Yeah pick him.
Agreed although the lone concern is if the Texans go run 1st and pass 2nd in this game until the Colts Run D proves they can hold Foster/Ward/Tate to the ground. Still Schaub relatively speaking could put a 270 yd spot with 2 TDs in this game.
Which two Rbs would you start week #1 matchups? Ben Tate, Willis McGhee, Reggie Bush, Felix Jones, Green-Ellis?
Tough choice but I can't trust a rookie to do well in game 1 like Dalton. McCown isn't a good QB but you'd figure he'd have more freedom in his offense than Dalton. Mike Thomas. Green is more talented but Thomas should get more looks, especially when Mercedes Lewis gets double teamed by the Titans.
Green Ellis even though MIA has a stout Run D. Should get plenty of shots on the goal line, could give you a TD. Felix Jone since he's the only other starter compared to each one(Skeptical on McGahee, Bush starting and Ward is higher on the depth chart than Tate). Jets Run D as well know is one of the best in the game but there could be a time when Felix rips off a big time run or two in the game.
Felix Jones definitely. Reggie Bush if it's a PPR league. Tate and McGahee will be sharing carries with other players that are capable. McGahee may get goalline carries in Denver though. Green-Ellis is a faggot. I'd go with Jones and Bush because they're "feature" backs on their teams.
ben tate or braylon edwards? (.5 per rec., .2 per rush att) I was going with braylon since he'll be the #1 guy basically with crabtree just coming back (not to mention he threw alex smith under the bus), but i read on schefter's twitter that kubiak is going to go with whoever gets hot and i could see ben tate ripping a few big runs against that terrible indy run D
Edwards but yeah I agree with you that Ben Tate could do nicely for himself. Braylon is a bit more of a sure bet though while Tate is a hit or miss pick.
Tough....normally its Boldin but Flacco is just going to be in trouble with the Steel Curtain. Harvin is one of McNabb's few targets(Along with his TE duo and Peterson in the backfield). Go with Harvin but Boldin won't be a terrible pick. Should be the short term, 1st down maker, especially with Heap gone. Harvin gives you more yards but Boldin can give you the chance of a TD catch so it depends on what you'd prefer.
disagree. look at boldin's numbers from last year against the steelers. he had 200 yards, 12 catches(I think, maybe 13) and a TD in the 2 games against them.
Considering Tate over FJax as an FU to my opponent for his upside. Crazy, brilliant, or crazy brilliant?
The Texans should be passing ALOT more than usual today, in my opinion, BUT that does mean Tate gets some goal line carries, regular carries, and ( because i believe they have a big game against the Colts D) garbage time carries. Hes a good play over FJax who should have struggles with his offense against the Chiefs.
