I still want to know what type of project Locker is.

Let's say he gets the coaching, what then? Is he a 40 passing attempts a game QB? A Dual threat? A game manager?

I just don't see the reward, especially if takes more than 2 years of coaching...

I don't think he's going to adapt to the complex defenses in the NFL.

He can make all the throws, but he doesn't throw them accurately.

    He's a college QB.

I still can't get over the announcers in the Bowl game justifying his 1st round status by saying "He's a good game manager".

I almost fell out of my chair when I heard that!

He's one of those guys that does have all the tools, but you gotta have the intangibles that are supposed to follow. I don't think he has those.

Mayock said something along those lines - "Either the light goes on or it doesn't"

I don't think he has the intangibles to have that light go on. When you compare him to other special 1st round QBs, he doesn't measure up. Not even close.

I'd rather take Andy Dalton in the late 3rd and be happy with a kid you can groom for a long term backup. But I don't want the Jets taking a QB in this draft. Get some FAs to backup Sanchez.

Adam Caplan of Fox sports gave Locker a 3rd round grade. More fuel to the fire

The fact that someone can go from a possible first overall, to possible 3rd rounder just says how big of a crapshoot the draft is.

    Don Warren comes to mind.

First rounder before the season drops to a UDFA.

Its an art not a science.

Hankerson is looking pretty good today, but I do realize that the cbs cant play bump and run.

I wouldnt mind letting Braylon walk to sign an olb if we could replace him with Hankerson although we dont have a 2nd rounder.

He's a clone of Braylon, so I'd be all for it, but he won't be available when we need him to be.
