I've been reading a ton of predictions saying that the Cowboys will be a wildcard team this year and I don't really get it. They have good skill players on offense but with their terrible O-Line it probably won't make much of a difference. Their secondary is pretty mediocre. Plus, I've never been on the Jason Garrett bandwagon. I see Dallas winning 8 games maximum.
I think you are over estimating the complexity of Rob's D. It is likely similar to Rex's in most respected, and probably the exact same Philosophy: KILL (Keep It Likeable&Learnable) Which means it should be very easy for defensive players to pick up and run with. I could be way off here, but I wouldn't underestimate a Ryan run defense
