McElroy is a great kid. He's of better character than Ellis's is a negative.

According to my notes, #Jets have the rights to 7 quarterbacks: Sanchez, Brunell, O'Connell, Willy, Ainge, McElroy, and Clemens (tendered)

well i am a bit concerned about the OLB position at this point not being addressed. IMO the D lacks perimeter speed and going into another season with thomas and pace another year older has me a bit antsy.

oh well maybe FA can bring something, whenver that is.

If a possible 7th round start was on the board, you think Tanny and Rex would pass up on him???

Put your thinking cap on buddy

we have 1 more correct, 227 right?

my dark horse there is actually going to be ricky henry OG Nebraska...

I think Williams, Mcdaniel, Bruce Miller and Jeremy Beal are all destined to be UDFA's at this point.

we appear to have a 2 way tie for this years biggest faller tgg.com nation is furious we didnt trade up for with Williams and Mcdaniel.

Side note: the president Andrew Jackson was just selected...

I think people need to realize while the 7th round can produce some starters and good players, but it's not typical...

intelligent kid and a winner. like the pick, seems he really wants to be here too.

deadass though, no homo it looks like we have two non-ugly QBs in Sanchez and McElroy

Our backups were Kellen Clemens and Mark Brunell and Eric Ainge...

McElroy may not be a great QB in terms of talent wise but he's smart, wins and is underrated in mobility.

Its a great pick in round 7. No real reason for anyone(Even Carimi) to bitch about the pick, you get a 2nd string QB in the final round and this is going to be big if Sanchez, who has battled injuries in his 1st 2 seasons, has trouble going.

You mean guys slip into the 7th round due to talent and adjustment issues instead of simply having every team overlook their immense talent?

    oh you didnt know?

because prospects are brought up on this board in the 5th-7th round that means theyre the best and 32 teams have been wrong 5-7 times for not drafting future pro bowl Safeties in what was already a weak DB class.
