    mudman, I would stand pat, there are 5 targets left on our tgg.com board, with under 15 picks to go. Somebody is going to fall down to us.

    Jacquizz Rodgers comes off the board, which is good for us, Atlanta was a team that should have been looking defense. Can't wait to see us come away with a another steal here in the 5th.

    Sure. But he's not particularly quick, and is FAR better playing center field than defending a tight end up the seam.

    Anyone think we might look at Herzlich? We need depth at LB and it seems like he can play either LB position. He can't be a worse pick than Powell, can he?

    Powell wasnt a bad pick, he just wasnt a need based pick. Jets clearly had him BPA on their board. looks like they know better than us, half the guys we thought were great value in the 4th are still on the board more than half way through the 5th. I bet at least 3 are still there when we are on the clock...

    i think is fair comparison to an extent.
    I see a little Brees in Ponder as well. He was one of my higher rated QB's.
    Call it gut, but i think he has the personality to win over a huddle and coaching staff. It'll take some seasoning, but i think he'll translate well to the Vikings.
