That could be. What i mean is McKnight is not a workhorse, and you can't run LT into the ground if Greene were to go down. Maybe this cat can contribute on ST as well.
Last season's RBs/FBs: Tomlinson Greene McKnight Richardson Conner Richardson is gone so that spot opens up.
I fucking know that but I am just saying that they won't be keeping 4 RBs most likely on this team and I see LT as the veteran needed in the locker room and Greene has his spot locked so its McKnight who was not in good standing prior to the final game of the season vs Powell now.
Good call on the first, excellent point on the second. It's a head scratchers from that standpoint, but a strong RB was an eventual need. Just weird timing.
I don't care who made the selection, I don't like it. We aren't getting a player with great upside either. He is a 3rd RB at best and now we have 4. We also won't be keeping 4 RB's on our roster, so this means 1 of McKnight, Powell or LT will be gone. It probably will be Powell. I just don't see the reason to waste a pick on a guy that will most likely get released, when you only have 6 draft picks.
don't forget we have the Terminator on the roster as well. I know conspiracy theories abound, but could we have been drafting for someone else in this case?
We're not keeping 2 FBs, so how do you figure that 4 RBs is completely out of the question? If a RB goes, it'll be the guy with 1 year left on his legs anyway. Just admit you made a stupid statement and move on.
I didn't make a stupid comment dude, I was just making my opinion on the matter. I just don't think LT and Greene will be gone for the reasons I listed above and McKnight had been considered in poor standing since training camp supposedly so it could be McKnight vs Powell for the 3rd RB spot.
Wasn't he a blue chip DB coming out of High School. Maybe Blue chip is a bit strong, but for some reason I remember that.
