There isn't. None worth getting excited about by any means.

So unless the Panthers do the unthinkable, Acho could survive another round.

Ellis has baggage...Assault, academic issues, MJ use, accused of being lazy.

    Rex will kick his ass.

I like the pick, He's a huge talent.

Carolina got a member of the Cardinal...just not the one they thought when they finished the season.

Don't you dare get rid of Tyrod Johnny. He is doing wonders. The jets are geting guys falling all over the board, plenty of talent available for us tomorrow. I think we get our young safety first thing tomorrow. its obvious Rex didnt like the pass rushers available to us otherwise he would have taken one. Believe me, he wants his version of Terrell Suggs here in NY.

But we have our youth along the DL with two great players, its going to be a hell of a rotation for us next year.

Gotta say, I think this will end up being exactly like the Gilbert situation, good call IJR. Ellis is going to be good, and we will love him in no time. It's clear Acho is going to be this years Cam Thomas, Everson Griffen, Ricky Sapp... it happens year in and year out, and we as Jets fans freak out, and to date, the guys who have seen that plummet, have turned out to be useless in the NFL so far.

The pass rush will improve with these big nasties manning the DL. I've been campaigning all off-season for DL help. Our LB corps is quite good as a whole. Sure, we can use a pass-rushing OLB but the pocket will get pushed and gaps will be created that were not there before.

So Jets are beefing up the DL.

I absolutely love it. I've been - as all of you whoever watched me bitch will know - crying out as loud as I could about getting a stud NT and an enforcer at DE. Looks like Jets got both during this draft. Can't be happier.

Rex will either get the most out of him, or he is out of the NFL in 2 years. Nothing in the middle. But, at the end of the 3rd round, he is well worth it.

He only shits on the Jets. The Giants can field a team of 53 felons and he wont say a bad word about them.

I'd like to get Carter only because I'm slefish and I called a few of his games in High School.

    Agreed. 100% Well said, sir!

Acho isn't worth the hype he is getting right now. He just isn't that good, he would not be a good fit in this defense. I just can't see it at all.

Ellis is a hell of a pick, we needed youth on that line in a bad way, and in one draft we managed to get some really good quality for our line heading into the future.

This is a great draft so far. Great draft.

With the 94th pick in the draft, the #Jets select druggie Kenrick Ellis, a NT from Hampton.
