    This is the most excited i've been about our 1st round pick since the Oline run in 06.

    Wilkerson is perfect for our Dline! perfect. he will play all downs, in a number of DL positions. He'll stuff the run, help our pass rush, and goddam intimidate!
    Rex will make this cat a playa!

    And yes, i love that the local kid wanted to be a Jet.

    I hope they piss off, join the Koran burning movement and support another team. They shouldn't be welcome. GREAT to have a bit of diversity on the team

    our 3rd round pick is basically a 4th round pick. I find it hard to imagine getting an impact edge rusher that late.

    You do your homework and you can get a player that late.

    I have a feeling we're really gonna love this guy. I am content with the pick. He's got the tools to be great and I can't wait to hear Rex's opinion of him.

    The main reason for this is that most thought he'd be gone. I remember a few weeks ago where he was a hot topic before he started being talked about as a potential pick for the Pats or Bolts at 17 & 18.

    I think we usually pull a starter from the 4th round under Tanny... just looking at his draft history and it seems that way

    man would that be something! I'd consider moving up in the 3rd to get that done.
    Friday is another guy that could fill the OLB need.

    The comments were pretty tame,
    and most were said in jest.

    No harm. Just making sure I wasn't missing some stud DL from Temple.

    Safety is one possibility. NT should be addressed, though it could be later in the draft. OLB is also a possibility in a later round.

    BTW where was MR. E for all of this?? Was he pissed that no fresno state players were picked in the first?

    Surprised I didnt see him in these discussions.
