Ellis was much more active and more versatile on the front 7 than Pryce was all year, and the #'s support that... as does the video... which is why they should look to sign him before Pryce... JMO

Don't discard the fact Heyward WANTED to be a Steeler... he said it so many times prior to the draft! Not saying that's why we passed on him...

Nope. Just made me wish we were so sure about somebody.

Granted, we may have been. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes? Just wish we had a clear cut can't miss pick.

Sadly, there is no such thing. I trust Tanny. I'm sure Wilkerson will work out!!!!

Not that I care that much, but Kiper is really loving our pick.

Some of you make me sick, especially the fuck wits on facebook saying they don't like him because some of his family were wearing burqa's.

Fuck you and all your racists comments. Makes me sick to be a Jets fan.

The guy obviously was overjoyed to be playing here and you cunts say shit like that.

Revis is from Pittsburgh and we traded in front of the Steelers to draft him, so I'm guessing that's not why we passed on Heyward.

Good. Hadn't heard his name thrown around much as far as JETS picks.

Sounded like Ayers was our guy (if you believe the "experts").

Based on the opinions here, it sounds like we made a very good pick.

    NICE!!!!!!

I'm thrilled with Wilkerson.. really wanted him or Ayers. Wouldn't have been upset with either one (or Phil Taylor who was obviously not there).. I just really didn't want Brooks Reed.

I like how the Patriots keep on trading for future picks instead of making them as Brady's window gets smaller.

    hahahah...watch BB pick Ayers tomorrow.
I'd rather have the athletic 320 pounder playing on the line though.

  16. An ideal remainder of the draft would include someone like Dontay Moch in the third, maybe a Kenrick Ellis later. I could see a safety late, but I would prefer going NT (even with Wilkerson's pick) and OLB first.

Yeah the Jets aren't in business to help out their rival teams and let the players dictate where they go. The reason the Jets took Wilkerson over Heyward is simple: He is better and the Jets wanted him more. Plain and simple.

Would not be surprised at all to see the Jets move up tomorrow by trading a future pick. I don't know how much it would take to get it done, but you never know with Tanny.

    That's awesome to hear.

I'd heard Ayers, Reed or Taylor.

Hadn't heard Wilkerson at all, so I have a limited knowledge of him. I'm so glad to hear everyone here is high on him. Awesome.
