Not trolling. I don't hate the pick, I just preferred Akeem Ayers and leaned more towards Cam Heyward. Thus, notsureifwant.

Was more of a pipe dream, though I would be willing to deal next year's first (although I imagine we would need more)

Don't forget Greene's from NJ too. I'm seeing a pattern...

  8. Nah, but that Klecko guy the Jets had on their defensive line was a pretty solid Temple product.

Wilkerson is very versatile and can play anywhere on the line, just what Rex covets.

Will be used primarily on the end.

I'm calling it right now: next year, we're picking Fred Willard.

I like the pick alot...I took him in mid round 2 back in our 3 rounder and suddenly he shot up into being a top 20 pick soon so from that standpoint I do have concerns but value wise and need wise, he absolutely fits the billing. Very versatile, can clog up the middle and be a great run stopper. Not sure if he has the speed to get to quarterbacks but picture him as a DeVito/Pouha type with much higher upside.

The point is Heyward has a higher floor but Wilkerson has the higher ceiling... obviously Tanny, Rex & co are confident enough they can turn Wilkerson into a great DE... which he has a chance to be.

    He'll help recruit Asomugha.

No but seriously this guy looks beast. Should be a fine replacement for Ellis.

Jabaal Sheard migght be more reasonable to get by trading up into the second. Won't go as high as Ayers.
