I get the feeling that Aso signing or not signing has nothing to do with Edwards. I don't think they want um back, just the feeling I get, no matter what the case. Cromartie on the other hand, the Aso signing absolutely effects. If they don't get him, Cromartie gets signed.
For the most part Edwards drop issues were left with the browns. his first year here i think i remember 3 significant drops. last year i can not recall any, actually i'm almost positive he had better hands than holmes, cotch and keller last season.
Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com reports "at least a dozen" teams are interested in free agent Plaxico Burress and consider him a "low-risk" bargain. "It is stunning," says Freeman, "that team executives speak about Burress' future with such certainty like they've stepped into a time machine." Execs tell Freeman that Plax will "retain his athletic ability" and return to form "easier and quicker" than Michael Vick at a less demanding position. The entire report reads like it came straight from the desk of agent Drew Rosenhaus, through Freeman cites multiple front office sources. In addition to the Giants and Steelers, Freeman says the Redskins, Eagles, Jets, and another mystery team have emerged as the "top contenders" for Plax.
for some reason thats the way it seems to me also, seeing as Rice bailed to Seattle they only have Harvin left....it would be smart if they offer him big money but ASO needs to hurry up so we can move onto the next free agent...
Their outward impression of Braylon and how they really feel seem like two different things. I don't think they want him back, no matter what the price,, and he knows it.
I hope that's all it is.... It seems obvious that the Texans can offer more money so to me, for them to be meeting,, don't like it.
Side note, Rich Cimini is a hack. RichCimini Rich Cimini @NYJNO1 Oh, right, just like he took care of Danny Woodhead in the Monday night game in NE. In reference to Rex being able to stop the Patriots and now the Dolphins acquisition of Reggie Bush. Apparently Rich forgot about the playoff game and splitting the season series. I hate that fucking guy.
Cimini is so anti-Jet in so many ways, it's not even worth discussing. Now Reggie Bush is Gale Sayers.
Haynesworth to the Patriots is a counter to us getting Nnamdi(hopefully) As we take away the passing game, the Patriots obviously trying to take our running game, so Sanchez is uncomfortable. Interesting..seems Belichick is realizing he has to make a big splash, and take a huge risk. They havent done shit since they lost to the Giants. 1 game, but Reggie Bush killed us in 2009 week 4...Oh wait no he didn't. The Jets fucked him up.
I wouldn't mind just getting Johnathan Joseph. A bit younger and is a much better tackler, or at least more physical.
thats kind of my point.... jones has drop issues, but so did braylon. braylons first year he had alot of big drops, but since not many.
Somehow Haynesworth has almost no guaranteed money left on his deal? That was really some monstrosity of a deal Washington gave him. Almost all the money was upfront.
Does anyone else get the feeling that if we miss out on nnamdi we STILL wont make an offer to edwards? if we miss on nnamdi, i dont think cro should be the next target, as he's overpriced. we could get edwards cheaper, and go after florence or joseph or even nate clements
