    Read on a website that the Patriots and Brad Smith have been talking with one another. Pats very interested in getting Smith.

    Boy that would suck to see him with the Patriots.

    Giants DT Barry Cofield signs with Redskins according to Schefter.....

    Might limit them a bit to go after Holmes possibly?

    I don't think any of these minor signings the Redskins make will break the Holmes deal, the only way Holmes doesn't end up a Redskin is if he turns them down for the Jets.

    When Washington re-signed Santana Moss earlier today, I think it was their first step towards giving up on Santonio Holmes.

    I am thinking Cofield might have gotten himself a good deal though with WSH...was a starter for the Giants and WSH could use the D-Line help.

    Good point. Maybe they go after a more physical WR like a Mike Sims Walker instead or something. Hankerson should be the team's no.3 heading into the season.

    I'm surprised we haven't made any cuts yet - if Barnes is signed, Bryan Thomas will most likely get canned.

    Tomlinson is also on the chopping block.

    What do you think the odds are on Ihedigbo being resigned? He's a guy I'd like to see in a bigger role on this team.
