Trading for Osi Umenyiora honestly would not shock me at this point.

I would love Zach Miller. Totally changes the dynamic of our offense. Improves the running and passing game. Gets Keller off the line more. Gives Sanchez more options in the middle of the field.

im more excited about the possibility of Miller than i was Aso to be honest.

especially after losing Braylon and hearing us involved with scrubs

Miller is the best TE if not the most underrated by far.

a much tougher slightly less athletic keller

Yeah about Zach, he should've been a 1000 yard receiving tight end, but our offense was so bad prior to last year, it's amazing how good he was. I'm taking with that oaf JaMarcus Russell. That's a trick David Blaine could only wish to have on his resume!

I would love to keep him because I think with Jacoby Ford and a healthy McFadden, we could go even further with Zach as the receiving centerpiece.

Always thought Miller was the most underrated TE in the league. Great hands and good blocker. Racked up yards/TDs with NO ONE decent at QB for the Raiders

Antonio Gates makes 7 million a year on a 5 year deal. Dallas Clark makes 6 million a year on a 6 year contract. I can live with a 5-6 million a year contract for a top notch tight end who does it all and much cheaper then Braylon probably.

Well now I'm going to be pissed if the Jets don't get him. Stupid ex-raiders players keep making me excited.

    A 3rd rounder seems logical.

lol this FA period is all about Miller right now to me.

with braylon in the rearview this has to happen to bring some new dynamic to the offense

and open up both the running/passing game

    Agreed.

What about Washingtons FA corner Carlos Rodgers? I didn't watch any Washington games last year heard hes good but has stone hands for a corner.

I'm discouraged he didn't sign am extension during the season but I'm holding out we keep him. What's weird is that this is the first thing I read or heard about him, at all. And it wasn't even an article, just a pass along. As the top TE in free agency, I haven't heard a ripple, which is why I'm puzzled.

I would love to get Zach. Totally changes the Jets offense. Wouldn't even cost that much. Keller under contract for 2 more years cheap. We have little to no money invested at that position.

Assuming Plax will be cheaper, one year deal to prove himself.

Cro should be out. Not worth the money. Can't tackle, penalty machine and struggles with quick wr. Shouldn't be too hard to sign someone like Chris Carr and then you have Revis, Carr, Strickland, Wilson, Cole and Lowery. I trust Rex can make that work. Can't give 9 million to a player who has huge holes in his game.
