You know I follow and always liked Brandon Tierney - And he's aparently a huge fan and follower of his idol Francessa... I read Tierney say things like Francessa tells it like it is and listen to him about the Jets... But, here's the rub.... I can take Jets criticism, heck I can dish out Jets criticism with the best and consider my self a darksider for decades..... And I can listeb to NFLNetwork analysts break down a game and use football intellect to explain why and where the Jets lack. But, to listen to some fat Blowhard "GET OFF" on any Jets slight is not something I sign up for..... Heck, I don't want to hear any "Sports Guy" come from that angle of a personal Vendetta and purposely chuckle, mock and exagerate to the worst one teams plight.... I'm well beyond that in sports - the Soap Opera, Personal feelings part of sports - I look for Real X's and O's down and dirty football talk... Tuned in a bit yesterday and this guy is tripping over himself like he's at the All You Can Eat Buffet repeating the same crap over and over as his callers call in and repeat the same crap again and they high five and mock and laugh more... Whatever Blowhard - that's not sports talk IMO, that's Kidsplay... But, enjoy youself.
Tierney is a decent host but he wants to be back in NY radio so I wouldn't necessarily trust anything he is saying about Francesa.
Francesa, repeatedly yesterday saying that Rex hasn't come close to the Super Bowl, over and over again. How has he not come close to the SB, when he got within one game, two years in a row. You can't get any closer.

A couple of weeks ago, he had Justin Tuck on. Tubby was leading him into saying how many tackles he will get against the Jets in December. Tuck said basically he couldn't wait for that game. Too bad for Tuck (and Tubby) that all Iv'e seen of Tuck so far this season is that he isn't a very attractive cheerleader. Funny but everytime the Giants are in need of a big play, the camera always shifts to Tuck doing his immitation of a Steelers fan with a terrible towel.
I agree with Junc. BT is a serious Jets fan (I actually passed him in the concourse area at a game, either last season or the the '09 season; in passing, I said "What's up BT!" and he responded "What's up."). When he hosted on 1050, he was very knowledgeable and optimistic, yet remained pretty objective for a fan. And while he was critical at appropriate times, he hardly ever ripped the Jets unfairly the way Francesa does; so, I doubt the sincerity of his comments regarding Francesa and the Jets. In fact, I think it would be awesome to pair Francesa and BT because then we'd really see just how much he agrees with Tank for "telling it like it is." And Tank wouldn't be able to hang-up on BT.

this is why you gotta love tank. he kills the jets more when they win, as opposed to when they lose. when they lose, he discusses it for the day. maybe a little the next. this week he opens up every show destroying the jets and rex. he just cant stand wins. so what does he do? destroy the coach. talk about the combined record of the teams we beat. blah blah blibbity blah blah.

Did he just say Rex Ryan is coming up? is he going to talk to him or just listen to his press conference?
I don't understand how this guy is still relevant in the day and age of satellite radio. he should be completely obsolete the fact you guys bother to listen to him is just mind boggling knowing he's gonna trash the team
