i don't really care because i stopped listening to fatso yrs ago as i found him to be unlistenable. he chooses to make himself the center of attention and he is frequently wrong and Revis was a guest on his show and he treated Revis with disrespect and hostility. Another shameful performance by fatso and more attention for him which is all he cares about. glad i don't ever listen to this douchebag.
So this is why Boomer and Carton always ask people "do you like Inge" or "I like Inge"...They are ripping on Fatso..I never knew why they were so obsessed with the "like Inge" thing. This explains it.
I listened to both Neer and Roberts off and on this morning and both where pretty fair. They didn't kiss the puss bags feet. Neer is always a gentleman when he deals with callers. He treats callers with respect. No matter how much someone disagrees with him, he handles it calmly. He reminded people that he thought it wasn't a penalty either. To anyone who thinks Revis came on with an attitude, a caller brought up a great point. Mike was interviewing someone just before the interview with Revis and talked about the play. He told him "I'm not goona let him off da hook wit dat play". It was right before the Revis interview.You know Revis heard that. [/IMG]

Same here. I could care less about Francessa. I don't want to get political, but it's the same way many feel about Rush Limbaugh. His ratings come largely from his ability to get people wound up and join in his conversation. Even though he is being condemned, the argument makes him relevant and noteworthy. If you think Francessa's a worthless DB stirring shit up just to get ratings, why play into his hands and join in the argument? This stupid little tiff is on the first page of ESPN for chrissakes.
Hard for me to figure why a city as sophisticated and diverse as NY allows a buffoon like Mike to be a radio sports host. He is not good enough to be the food taster at the Jets training cafeteria. The man’s intellect and football insight makes Cimini look like the God of sports reporting
Because he blows all the yankee and Giant fans so they love him. Then he bashes their in city rivals so they love him even more and our fans listen to him so they can complain about it on message boards.
Because he and Russo were the #1 hit show for 20 years. It was actually a good combo, Franceser could be the intellectual snob and Dog could be the emotional nut and they played off each other. Now that Dog's gone, Franceser tries to be smart-ass and emotional and does both badly :smile: He's still number one out of force of habit as much as anything (since he's still in the same time slot) and ESPN Radio always has a weaker signal and Franceser-wannabe hosts.
Listened to Evan today and he all but blew Francessa on air; blamed the Jets PR guy etc. " Revis knew Mike is anti Jet so he was on his toes ready for a bust up" (not verbatim but you get the idea). Give me a break. I would love for Joe Benny to come on Monday and threaten to punch out Frans lights for giving our star player a hard time!
I do not and have not listened to Tank for a while now---I did see the youtube video and Tank was out of line and was unable to just conduct the interview without his agenda . He was himself which is why I choose not to listen , he is unlistenable ! That said I listen to other shows on F A N and enjoy them. I listened today and if any of you heard ED COLEMAN--well I give Ed alot of credit and he is and has always been a standup / radio guy. He at least had the balls to say that " Mike was wrong " in how he handled the interview and I give Eddie props for having the gonads to tell it like it is---nice job Ed Coleman! I will listen to you whenever I am able you are a class act unlike Tank!
Ed will probably be suspended for a week for violation of the MEMO TO FANGOLOIDS to back Fatso and bash the Jets
