All due respect but by rule it wax not. Now it's a stupid rule but by rule the call was correct. That idiot Cruz was not playing to the rule, but the rule forgave his stupidity.
I, for one, don't want this to blow over. I want this to linger, give Fatty an ulcer, and hopefully, "voluntary retirement".
Or, if Francesa had just said, "Ok we disagree, let's move on." Fatty was the one supposed to be asking the questions. Actually, I don't fully agree with this. If there was a bad move, it was calling back and apologizing to Fatty. That will give him ammo. Revis said that Fatty's opinion was good? He said that? Please direct me to the quote where Revis said he values Fatty's opinions.
Speaking of Carton, he is really starting to get on my nerves, and dragging Boomer, who I like alot, down with him.
He owned him because he didn't give into his shit, and he can be heard as saying "This is why nobody wants to talk to this guy" fucking priceless.
Well like you said he wasn't playing to the rule but yeah that ambiguity is in place cus of the rulebook. Idk I just don't think I've ever seen a local radio host badger a local team's player like this before, it was ridiculous.
So what your saying is that Boston radio WEEI in particular should have grilled Brady over the non existent tuck rule saying it should have been a fumble until he finally said ... yeah I guess it was a fumble. Or they should have grilled the Pats about spygate saying it was cheating and gave the Pats an advantage until the Pats said yeah we tried to gain an edge that was against the rules? Just so I understand where you are coming from.
IN PEE AWR Are you kidding me? Nobody here respects Fatty, regardless of his opinion of Revis. And it wasn't holding.
I agree I was listening in the car and I couldn't tell, but after watching it on tv I saw mike sort of smiling through the whole thing having some fun, it's a shame the interview went so poorly because I think people want to hear what revis has to say and I think francessa genuinely feels he is the best defensive player in football. Closest thing to this I ca remember was when Carton had Harry Carson on to talk about some NFL alumni thing and Carton kept pressing him about LT Nd drug use in the 80s. Carson asked twice if they could stay on topic and politely said he's not here to talk about teammates and FFA third time just said goodbye and hung up.
summary he wanted Revis to say, in effect "I was wrong, I interfered and got away with it" when HE is completely unable to say "I was wrong" about ANYTHING he has ever said EVER which is why he is just about the biggest hypocrite in all the media AND a fat douchebag to boot
Fatty hangs up on anyone and everyone who shows him up and proves him wrong and he's appalled at someone hanging up on him?
did he have Jeter on and admit he got a break on the hr (fan interference)against the orioles? Or when Ngata hits Sanchez with the crown of his helmet, did he interview the ravens and ask if they got a break? Brandon Marshall was pushing Revis and initiating contact all game long. His first catch he shoved revis 3 yards back, as matter of fact. This moron is a complete lunatic.
