I just saw him bounce into a double-play to end the game with the tying run standing on third. Otherwise, he had a pretty solid night. In fairness to Carl, he should never have been in that position.
He has also made 24 appearances so far, which is double what any other reliever besides Papelbon has. He's being overused right now, and they are starting to rest him a bit.

Yesterday's game pissed me off. Pedroia booted a possible game ending double play. The two ejection. But they got the win. They have played 5 ugly games in a row.
If he's really getting TJS, he won't be back next year, and I doubt the Sox try to resign him after his contract is up.
