They did turn back the clock night on Friday, the M's wore the Alvin Davis era uni's and Padres wore the brown and orange. When they showed Ichiro he was dressed as Michael Jackson from the cover of Thriller and Adam Kennedy was Adam "Ant" Kennedy complete with makeup.

And Doug Fisters run of insanely fucked up terrible luck as he is pitching extremely well continues. Considering I lost the Wins category this week by 1 win, I'd like to extend a big fuck you to the Seattle offense. In the words of Lasorda, they couldn't hit water if they fell out of a fucking boat.

Pujols back already. He'll be available off the bench tonight, as he was activated earlier today.

I've been watching a lot of baseball and there's been a lot of throwback uniforms being used this season. Even more than in past years.

    RE: Ichiro

I found this from spring training.

Lester leaves after 4 innings with no hits given up. As if we needed another pitching injury...

How the hell is CC Sabathia not on the All-Star team? 12 wins(league leader), 2.90 ERA, leads the league in innings pitched, .248 average against, and he strikes out everybody! The dude is a freaking Cy Young candidate at this point, this is ridiculous he's not on the team! Robertson too.

What a joke, Arod and Jeter have no business being on the team over those two, and Jeter is one of my favorite yankees of all-time.

The manager's a coke head, so you can't blame him. Don't know what the players were thinking. He pitches on Sunday so he can't pitch in the game anyway, they could've just picked him and then picked CJ Wilson to play in the game.

The guy deserves the recognition, he literally defines an ACE and is basically an automatic W every-time hes on the mound.

Cards trail Cincinnati 8-0 after 5, but score 2 in the 6th, 5 in the 7th, and now Jon Jay has gone deep in the 9th to tie it at 8.

This game featured Pujols' return to action, but it's his teammates who have been making the noise. More specifically, Daniel Descalso.

Pujols grounds into a DP to send it to extras.

    Berkman/Pujols/Holliday: combined 2/11

Why did you pick his worst team? He managed the Red Sox, A's and Padres to the World Series (winning back to back championships for the A's in the 70's) and turned the Expos into contenders.

It's because I remember him managing the Mariners. I also mentioned his death in the Red Sox and Mets season threads.

A Rangers' fan died tonight reaching for a foul ball.

This guy's young son watched him fall to his death - absolutely awful.

Oh, I was just curious because he was much more successful at some of his other teams.

Hope the Rangers plan on paying for the counseling the rest of his life.
