Les Miles will be the topic of discussion...What he succeeded to do last time against Alabama when he switched Lee for Jefferson...He failed to do it the other way around here. FAIL
Are these two teams really the best teams in the country? I see some great defense, but the rest . . . Meh.
I said something similar in another thread. He looks flat footed a lot of the times. That won't cut it in the pros
LSUs defense played fine, the fact they gave us every opportunity to win the game and our whole offensive side of the ball did jack shit. Nick Saban did enough to win this game, as much as it pains me to say. LSU did about as much offensively to shoot themselves in the foot as possible, as much as Musburger wants to say how AMAZING Alabama defense is but when you call bubble screens, HB dives, and three option plays it makes any defense look pretty good
Yeah and the few times he did rush he either went in half ass and got no where, or he went straight to his knees
For all the hoopla about the Game of the Century and the Rematch of the Century, what two terribly boring games. Fool me once...
The first one was better because both defense played exceptionally well. This time it was more LSU playing horribly on offense they basically gave up mid way through the second half
Wow I want Courtney Upshaw, guys character would fit in with us. Seems smilar to Bart Scott. Hes play was great tonight to....
Upshaw just seems a bit too stiff for me. Like I can't see him cause havoc on the edge. Like Thomas..more coverage, less pressure.
This College season sucked. Im glad its over. Having 2 super power team just ruined it. Alabama and LSU were basically like NFL practice squads, just wasnt fair for the rest of college football.
when you have a great defense but your offense is suspect, you're the best team in the country. if you have a great offense but your defense is suspect, you're not. that's what happens when you let one region dictate what college football is.
You don't have a clue. I've been following College Football long before you were DNA and this was a great year. There was no BCS bullshit wondering who were the top 2 teams. I don't feel sorry for Bama & LSU cause they were the top 2 teams. Let all the other teams go out and recruit their ass off to improve their program. BTW, Bama is going to be a powerhouse for some time, even though they're losing some great players, they have a lot of talent to take their place.
