Baker made it easy for me. I wanted Jones, but Ducasse being there was starting to make me question things. With Haden and Jones, the Browns are building the secondary the right way. They go from having one player with good potential and some solid/mediocre guys in the defensive backfield, to a team with three good young players.
+1 That's why its so great to draft at the top of round two where you can still snag some 1st RD talents
Sure! There were better players available at bigger positions of need for the Jags. Brandon Spikes isn't worth a first rounder, let alone a top 15 pick. Drafting a right tackle 2 years in a row makes no sense, the Ravens have the most talented young o-line the NFL, Williams will never see the field.
The best place to draft IMO is top rd 2 & mid rd 3. This year with the new rules (3 days draft) I can see the top of the 4th as a nice place for some bargains... This is why I want to trade down I must say though that with Ducasse all of my top choices (if I'm not mistaken) are gone... from now on it gets interesting!
I was very close to taking Ducasse, instead of Cody. I just couldn't believe Cody was still available, had to take him for KC's defense.
Damn, I was really, really hoping Ducasse would fall to the Raiders. Great pick. Back to the drawing board for me.
The draft is being spread out over three days now? hmy: I hadn't heard that, Mambo How are they breaking it down ... Friday nite, Saturday and Sunday? If so, what rounds on which days? Thanks in advance for the info
Rd. 1: Thurs., April 22, 7:30 p.m. ET Rd. 2-3: Fri., April 23, 6:30 p.m. ET Rd. 4-7: Sat., April 24, 10 a.m. ET Radio City Music Hall, New York
You had to quote me bfore I get rid of it heh ? You traitor! Sorry guys... I went into "conversation" mode instead of mock draft mode... won't happen again.
