McNown was a decent runner - I think he ran in the high 4.6s, low 4.7s.

McCoy is the better athlete of the two though.

CJ Spiller might be my favorite player in college football besides Taylor Mays. He's a lot like Leon. Wouldn't be bad to have another huge playmaker.

Javhid Best is probably the best RB in that class though. I like Dwyer a lot, he ran over Miami when I saw him late in the season.

Bradford, McCoy, Bryant, or Benn would do wonders to help our offense...Similarly, Berry, Mays, or Spikes would be huge additions to our defense

Obviously the 2008 draft sucked too or we wouldn't have ended up with Gholston.

I also dont think McCoys passing numbers are a accident either. hes surrounded by talent yes, but just watching the kid play I like him alot. Not to mention you cant argue he was helped by a good running game to inflate his numbers (the system does that) because he was their running game too lol.

like i said only time will tell.

    To the GM:

Dwyer is going to be a top 10 pick. The guy is 230 and can outrun DBs. And he IS the fullback. Watch a GT game. A lot of his long runs are up the middle without a blocker in front of him. He shakes a lot of guys and can run over them. Watch this highlight of the UGA game at 1min mark he shakes a DB to the ground

Another GT player is Morgan Burnett
    Led nation in ints
Best safety I have seen live since Sean Taylor at Miami (yes he is that good)

I agree Dwyer can motor for a big man.................he will be a Top Ten pick if he runs a 4,4 or less in 2010's combine, anything higher and he will be a Mid to late Rd1 pick, that's how the combine works........so time will tell.

You need to watch some UT tape.........Eric Berry is the next coming of Sean Taylor.....he may even be better. INT's don't tell the whole story.....coverage, speed, tackling ..Eric Berry is from a different planet, he's that good.

It's clear, you're a GT Fan, or at least live in Georgia:) Which is cool!!!

Eric Berry and Taylor Mays are better than Morgan Burnett. He's still a damn good safety though.

As I said above....that goes without saying.

Burnett is much better than James Butler, and I really liked Butler at GT. Butler was a very good College player........average at best in the NFL.

Why did they move Berry from corner? I thought he was great there as a freshman. Don't watch too much UT but I do think that Berry is great. Just saying that of guys that I have seen live over the past 5-6 years Burnett really stands out. He is GTs main defensive playmaker (over Michael Johnson). I am biased toward tech players though but I try not to overvalue them like MJ who I think is a good player but not a top 10 pick. He would be a good value as a late 1st, early second. I also think he play outside linebacker in a 3-4. he is really fast (he made so many special teams tackles his first three years because he would beat everyone down the field) and he dropped into zone coverage a lot this year

Berry was recruited as a CB. I believe he played in his very first game in a nickel or dime package. Within a short time he was starting at Safety. I don't remember the reason for him converting, there may have been an injury. I know Fulmer commented, he couldn't keep Berry off the field. I know he was the Defensive Freshman of the year in the SEC.

Georgia Tech has to compete against so mamy good teams for players......Georgia, Bama, Auburn, UT.....,not to mention all the Sunshine State schools. GT has it tough. Recruiting is the name of the game and GT does the best they can with their personnel. I always enjoy watching GT's defense, they are usually competitive.

There are very few very good players in the NFL from GT....Calvin Johmson, Keith Brookings, Dawan Landry to name a few.

I think this is the year that the Jets should start trading back and getting extra picks next year. This years draft has plenty of good players 20-60. Trade 17 for something like the 40th pick and get an extra 4th this year and a 1st next year. Of course they need to find a team that wants someone really badly at 17.

Wasn't Everson Griffen benched? I know it doesn't mean much at USC and i still think he'll be really good but a first rounder? this year?

I don't remember EG being benched. I believe Griffin is going to be a pass rushing terror and expect him to be a top pick.
