San Fran forces Philly into 3rd and 18, but Kolb simply runs for the first down.

This game is slipping away.

So many times San Fran has made defensive plays, and then simply let philly convert 3rd and long.

 

3rd and 15, and Philly nearly converts again with a checkdown to the fullback Schmitt.

gain of 13, and they line up to punt from the 35, but they wait for the quarter to expire first.

 

and now Philly will have Akers try a 52 yarder.

San Fran gets good field position.

 

It's very likely that the Eagles will win this game, but c'mon man. It's 17-10 and the third quarter just ended.

You guys were talking about the NFL being better when the Raiders are good. I think you can say the same thing about the 49ers. If they really do have a losing season, they should draft Mallett.
